"That... was... tougher than it should have been. Thank you all for coming to my aid." A wounded Maldorn says with difficulty. "Perhaps we should backtrack and drink some more of that water from the magical fountain."
Erric nods, still breathing heavily, points wordlessly back down the hallway, and helps Maldorn head back to the water. He also offers the bottle of the water he got from the pool, if Maldorn needs it sooner. He's uncharacteristically not talking. When he looks at Jambiya, it's obvious he's very impressed with her.
Jambiya gives a little fist pump as the enemies are defeated, which is weird since she is upside down on the ceiling. She carefully climbs down the wall to the floor again, and comes over to Maldorn. "You were very brave and strong, Maldorn," she says, with a hand on him, careful of his wounds. "You all were. We could not have made it without all of you. I'm so glad we're here, together!"
"I know it's not much, but these might help," and she taps the ground with her new witchy stick—which the others may notice has now sprouted a short twig from its smooth, varnished surface. A small tendril sprouts from the stone, clearly magical as it does not seem to come from the stone. It grows, and within seconds, races through all the stages of life, finally dropping ten, fat, red berries on the floor as the vine withers and disappears. Jambiya gathers the berries and stands up, holding them out. "I don't need any, thanks to Ebokk and his shield, but if anyone else does..."
"Also, I think going back to the fountain is a great idea," but she looks decidedly uncertain as she says it. "I guess I don't know how the guardians of this place will feel about us going backwards... but we should definitely try!" she finishes with more cheer. She will let Erric help the ranger as she skips ahead of the others back to the room where Xynkil was.
Ebokk sighs in relief as the last of them fall. He pokes one of the swords with his warhammer before putting his warhammer back in his beltloop. Just making sure they arent coming back for round 2 he says.
Some of that water would do nicely indeed, if the way is not blocked yet. Ebokk looks back into the hall Those creatures lured us to this trap, i knew they could not be trusted.
Having a hand free he will inspect the damage done to his shield and to himself after that.
Erric's fine with a return to the pool room, and then proceeding down the hall again, warily looking at the remaining suits of armor. He also looks at the downed ones, to see if there was anything hidden inside, or anything interesting about them. "How much time do you think has passed since that hourglass started? We've been moving pretty quickly, and thanks to all of you, dispatched those suits of armor and flying weapons very quickly. But I think we have two hours, right? We should keep moving..."
The party re-enters the long chamber with the floor puzzle where they encountered Xynkil. The flames in the torches are still burning merrily, but there is no sign of the beholder.
(Can we retrace our steps back across the same tiles to get more of that water, and then come back to the hallway once the injured have drank their HD?)
Jambiya, least injured and bolstered by her mystical connection to nature, volunteers to try it. She will retrace her steps across the tiles, but in reverse order, clearly.

The rest of the party crosses with no issues. As per the magic of the pool, you may regain hit points by spending one or more hit dice (as if you were taking a short rest without having to rest for an hour). Each character regains an extra 1d6 hit points the first time they spend one or more hit dice in this way, so if you already did this, you don't get 1d6 extra.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric asks if anyone else has another spare vial or bottle, and fills it. He doesn't drink any. And he'll head back to the hallway, retracing his steps once again. He'll listen for anything else in the hallway, and scout ahead when the party is all assembled amid the broken armor and swords.

OOC: Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think the point about healing by an extra d6 was made when we first tasted the water from the fountain. I checked back an none of us (Jambiya, Ebokk, Maldorn) rolled an extra d6 along with our hit die back then. Would it be OK if we were to get the extra d6 now?
Maldorn cautiously follows Jambiya to the the fountain and and drinks a healthy gulp. (Hit die: 6 + 10 -> already added to character sheet.)
-> Hit Dice used so far: 3/4
-> If allowed to roll the extra d6 now, he'd heal for another 3 -> not yet added to character sheet.
In response to Erric's question, Maldorn will empty his waterskin by drinking it and then refill it with magical fountain water.
OOC: Of course, Lerus! I obviously forgot to include that in the description the first time.
OOC2: Moving along, but Ebokk can retroactively roll hit dice if he wishes.
The party returns to the looooooong hallway. Erric acts the scout and moves ahead of the others, his ears open to any suspicious sounds. They pass over the broken swords and piles of once-magical armor and continue. (Looking at them as they pass, they can see that the metal appears to be aging rapidly, rust and even a few pock marks already visible.) Not too much farther, Erric points toward an elaborate archway about 25 feet ahead that forms a break in this exceedingly long passage. Slowly approaching it, the party can see that the brothers Raman and Grath are once again immortalized in stone, their bodies flanking the corridor while their outstretched arms and weapons form a decorative arch.

Jambiya gingerly reverses the path she took to solve her half of the floor puzzle. The tiles remain solidly in place as she hops across.

Jambiya will drink of the fountain (which she has done before), expending one HD without needing a Short Rest to gain 3 hp!

Erric tosses a crossbow bolt through the arch.
Then looks at the party, realizing maybe he shouldn't have done that.
