The conditions: 1...Dusk - The setting sun casts long rays of shadow across the arena. Checks relying on sight will suffer disadvantage without the use of Darkvision.

Welcome to the Coliseum!" The crowd roar and cheers for a moment. "Now, I hope you're ready for another exciting match, for without further adieu, allow me to introduce your competitors!"
"He may be no bard, but there's one song his blade sings guaranteed to draw a crowd! Give it up for Baral the Bombastic!" A lithe eladrin clad in simple but sturdy blue clothes takes his place at the gates, bearing a rapier in one hand, a gnarly whip at the hip, and a hawk fluttering about.
"Knock, Knock, open up for real steel! For its none other than, Nock Markonus!" A male half-elf bearing the noble veneer and toned physique of two powerful bloodlines enters bearing a a faintly glowing greatsword, heavy armor, and a blood coursing with both dark and divine power.
"Prancing her way from the bottom to the top to deliver those fat bleats! Lets stomp the yard for Olly the Free!" A white furred female satyr dressed simply by anyone's recollection is standing with a trio of lookalikes in the staging area.
"And last but not least, our future time lord of this universe at least!Koplony!" As the blue-skinned wizard steps forth, the air shimmers and faints bit of snowflakes fall from his being.
"With all that said, let's this showdown at dusk...BEGIN!!!

Baraltoo slips on forward, and with a hop and skip, takes up residence on the deck of a ship; only to conjure a ball of flame further out. As it moves from stone boardwalk to the deck of another ship, said ship slowly begins to catch on fire..

Koplonydoes much the same, if albeit magically so, until but a good hop and skip across the waters might yet remained between him and Olly. A bolt flame to follow strikes true... but not on the intended Olly.
As the round concludes, the faint sound of mechanical whirring can be heard throughout the arena. Only two more rounds before new foes join the fray.

Ollytries to unravel the magical defenses of Koplony in song, only to be in turn find her magic undone by a few quick gestures from the wizard. Still, she gets out of dodge after throwing out a few words to get under Nock's skin. (See below results)
Baralfinally steps far enough into view to see Koplony at last(5F), and with tentacle rod in hand, compels the whips to lash him three times. And if all three make their mark, more is to come. As he puts the rod away, timmy flies back for safety for the time being(3G). (See spoilers for attack rolls/damage). Then

She sung with such passion as to explode the air above Koplony with a sound bomb! What with the wall in the way of her more dangerous spells.

Olly advances drumming a beat that Shatters the air space above koplony, catching him at the edge of the destructive force.
Baral too slips on forward, and with a hop and skip, takes up residence on the deck of a ship; only to conjure a ball of flame further out. As it moves from stone boardwalk to the deck of another ship, said ship slowly begins to catch on fire..
(@RazorDawn: Flaming Sphere does not float, and the water section is roughly 20-30 ft deep, so it will not reach its destination from G8. I'll assume for now you conjure it further out, so that it reaches its destination.)
(S/N: Since its magical fire, it will not go out simply from being submerged.)

Nock puts pedal to the metal in his racing across stone, deck, and thensome to reach the next bit of cover behind a highwall.
Koplony does much the same, if albeit magically so, until but a good hop and skip across the waters might yet remained between him and Olly. A bolt flame to follow strikes true... but not on the intended Olly.
As the round concludes, the faint sound of mechanical whirring can be heard throughout the arena. Only two more rounds before new foes join the fray.

Olly starts swaying and tapping her hooves.
" You're a fraud and you know it~
But it's too good to throw it away

Sometimes you even fool yourself a bit

She sings, lacing her song with a bit of magic meant to unravel his own, and weaken his resolve after. Olly then skeedadles back for some cover. But, not without at least yelling to Nock one last barb in hops to undermine his will.
"Face it, Nock! You'll never catch me with yo' slow ass! So give up for a really embarass ya!"
Action: Casting Smoke & Mirrors at 4th level on Koplony.
Bonus Action: Unsettling Words, spending a bardic die to take off 1 from Koplonys next saving throw.
Movement: Hippity Hop over to A-1 sauce.
Deception: 25 vs Nock(Insight or Investigation, though an argument can be made for something else?).
For Baral:
He'll have advantage, but if he counterspells that Dispel Magic, might be worth use Banishment to take him out the fight while we double team Nock?
And if he doesn't use it, stab'em to death. :D

Olly tries to unravel the magical defenses of Koplony in song, only to be in turn find her magic undone by a few quick gestures from the wizard. Still, she gets out of dodge after throwing out a few words to get under Nock's skin. (See below results)
Baral finally steps far enough into view to see Koplony at last(5F), and with tentacle rod in hand, compels the whips to lash him three times. And if all three make their mark, more is to come. As he puts the rod away, timmy flies back for safety for the time being(3G). (See spoilers for attack rolls/damage). Then
#1 Tentacle Rod Strike - Attack: 10 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. bludgeoning.
#2 Tentacle Rod Strike - Attack: 25 Damage: 1 bludgeoning.
#3 Tentacle Rod Strike - Attack: 11 Damage: 2 bludgeoning.
(@LST: As rightly put, athletics would not work so moving on to the effect roll)
The effect is...8... Olly's attacks against Nock have advantage until the end of her next turn. As Nock finds it hard to focus on defense without thinking back on her words.
(@Koplony: Make a Con. Save(DC 15) or come under the effects of Tentacle Rod. If failed, you can repeat the save at the end of your turn.)
