Khan gives Saros a flat look. "Maybe grey one learn lesson today. Learn speak all, and not halfsies of intent. Now not time for it."She said dryly, then shook her head. "Now say follow great distance. As if twinkle toes and dwarfs there as light footed as Grung. Won't stumble and make echoes in cave tunnels for sure."She scoffed. "Whatever. Ang. B'leep. Take bird and go ahead. We... follow. Soon."She added, assuming the two hadn't taken off by then.
In the meantime, she's back to look to the body, wandering what to do with it at this point. Much as she wanted and was willing to carry the burden, with her two scouts heading a ways ahead, she couldn't bear the weight or trusted the dwarves (no offense to Ghee) to handle with enough care. She then has a thought, remembering her B'lip's action and word, and after a moment's hesitation, repeated the word, "Ambush" to see if that might trigger him again.

(OOC: It looks like party members understood the plan somewhat differently, so I'll do my best here to make it an single unique plan.)
Out of the two proposed plans, the party seems to lean toward the one favoring a slower pace even if this decision lets a few extra sparks fly between Saros and Khan. Hence, Bleep and Ang get ready to scout ahead mostly on their own. Ang slots Omen under her arm and the frog-bird-trio advances slowly after one more lecture from Khan.
Saros and Darrik follow the vanguard from some distance (approximately 100 feet), but Ghee can't bring himself to let the grungs go too far without some support. He accompanies them part of the way and then stays behind somewhat. He is somewhere in the tunnel ahead of Saros and Darrik but behind Ang ad Bleep.
Disapproving of the "slowly-follow-the-vanguard" plan, Khan stays behind with the two green grung victims. Blip is strapped to her back but Blahp still lies on the floor. She tries to replicate Blip's response from a moment ago, but the green grung does not respond to the word "ambush" as the orange grung expected.
(@Grimnir & @MB: I'll need a stealth roll for Ang and Ghee. Ghee's check has a lower DC because he is only partially following. The others are far enough away, I'll say. Also, please remember that you both have a point of exhaustion.)
(@Drache: Please roll another stealth check to account for your disadvantage.)
(@Ori: This is just a reminder that your movement is halved while Blip is trapped to your back.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Watching his footing carefully, Ghee keeps a hand pressed on his stomach and the other on the haft of his spear. Still feeling it flutter and roil every few steps, he at least keeps a little pressure on it, trying to cover any gurgles that might otherwise give him away.
Ang and Bleep reach the mouth of the lake cavern as stealthy as their lingering stomach pain allows them. Ang's breathing is a little heavy, and she fears the subtle sounds become more noticeable because of the cavern's natural acoustics. Her fear that their approach might be announced to the enemy is then all but confirmed when, from about 60 feet behind her, a sonorous dwarven belch foils Ghee's best efforts to remain silent. The sound echoes in both directions such that Saros and Darrik can also hear it from their spot just 40 or so feet behind Ghee. A few seconds later, Khan also hears the echoing belch.
Bleep and Ang (and Omen) see a chamber in front of them much like Saros had described. The ground beneath their feet becomes a natural bridge over the subterranean lake, which takes over the entirety of the floor of the chamber deep below them. On the other side of the bridge, another opening on the wall continues to lead up. Whoever was making noises before, from the far end, is now quiet and likely also hidden in the opposite shadows created by some dim natural lighting filtering through the ceiling.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Khan, who had still been ruminating over the previous conversation for triggers, almost starts at the echoing belch. After taking a moment to calm herself, she shook her head, and then looked back to the dead grung. "No Grung left behind. A promise spoken, a promise kept... But living before dead. We avenge, but we return.."She said, crossing B'Lhap's hands over one another, and patting them one last time. "Take care of old leader. And may join Nanang's Choir, you do."
The Orange Grung sighed on that final note, but nevertheless rose to her feet to face the tunnel. Before taking that first step down it, she took at least a few moments rattling off a few more choice words out of lingering hope of guidance from B'lip. Words such as "Town, Trust, Wizard, Spy, Hiding". But regardless, it is either with some burgeoning insight or simple determination behind her as she sought to catch up with Saros and Derrik at the very least.

Having no doubt that the scouts' cover was blown, Khan places Blahp's body in a more secure location and begins to make her way down the tunnel. Not wanting to add to the noise, she makes sure to move as slowly as she can. Blip continues to stab the air while being carried by his commander, but reacts no different to any of her new attempted triggers.
Several yards ahead of her, Darrik and Saros try to remain as quiet as possible. Even further ahead, Ghee tries to listen for any dangers. At the mouth of the lake cavern, Ang and Bleep try to peer into the darkness.
@Ang & @Bleep: Thanks to your eyes having had the chance to adjust to the dim light, you manage to call out four humanoid silhouettes near the tunnel entrance opposite to the one you are in. They are moving cautiously and obliviously trying to remain quiet as well. You judge they are about 90 feet away from you. Bleep feels quite secure in his little nook, but Ang fears some of the approaching humanoids may have heard the heavier of her breaths. There is a chance they have also managed to pinpoint her silhouette given that sonorous hint.
@Ghee: Concentrating on your hearing sense, you think you could pick up the subtle echoes of several humanoids approaching from beyond Bleep's and Ang's location. Your best guess is that there are five distinct sets of steps.
The recognizable voice of the half-orc bookie/quartermaster breaks the silence: "I know you are not alone, little frogling? Where is that belching dwarf hiding? Where are the rest of your friends? Come out of the shadows slowly and we promise not to hurt you... too much."
Knowing his bodily functions are likely to betray his position sooner rather than later, Ghee decides to reveal his own position, hoping to draw attention to himself and away from his companions.
Ghee steels himself knowing that what is about to be done will require a good amount of dwarven fortitude.
"Ah'm right here ya bunch o' wallopers! Ah dinnae need any namby-pamby boys fae some fancy pants tower or bunch a jungle frogs tae give oot a hiding tae ye. About as smart as yer are ugly and ye all hit every branch on yer way soon fae the top o' the ugly tree!"
(OOC Ok, so the admittedly ill advised plan is to try and lure the half orc and his cronies towards Ghee and his new found litany of curses. Hopefully they are too focussed on him and his display of bravado to notice the others who are hopefully in nice positions to spring from the shadows.)

Bleep and Ang stay put while Gregor Forskog and his band approach slowly, and they are quite well armed for this encounter. Among Gregor, Cat Keeper, Tooth, and Toothless, you see several axes, clubs, and javelins. They all have some sort of basic armor on, and Tooth, the lizardfolk grunt, even carries a spiked shield. And that is not all. This group is followed by a handful of dwarven miners, each holding a crossbow and a side arm as well.
From behind the grungs, Ghee appears as summoned. He is the only one who responds to Gregor's threat, and he does so by insulting the leader of the town's local gang. Gregor is seething, and barks an order to the minors behind him: "Take down that disgusting jungle drunkard first!"
(OOC: Saros, Darrik, and Khan have each had a chance to move one full-movement closer while this is happening. Khan's movement is hurt by the fact she is carrying Blip.)
NOTES: Notable enemies have been color-coded. Variant "Hitting Cover" rule applies, though I will no longer post cover reminders in the initiative tracker above as it depends on the angle of the incoming attack.
(Khan is up first. All she knows is that Ghee likely gave away the other grungs' stealthy approach.)
Despite lingering concerns of Ghee's accident's spoiling the whole scouting trip, Khan buried her worry, and put her focus solely on putting on foot down after the other. That, and cling to that shred of faith that her Grung were better scouts than she was being a worrywort...
Movement/Action(if possible, as discussed): Move Closer to the others.

A crossbow bolt hits the rock wall, never making it into the tunnel. Two others fly past Ghee and land far behind him. One bolt travels the air accurately, but in a moment of unrivaled clarity, Ghee snatches it out of the air and drops it to the floor.
