Elyona moves a bit to the music for a bit, being careful to keep it easy and gentle, before settling down for a relaxing rest.

OOC: I added Elyona's CON mod to the HD roll, as that is RAW, but I noticed that Toots/Sposta and Oethe/Halfastbracegirdle didn't. Did I miss a houserule?
WIll add HP to Elyona's sheet once I've posted and seen rolls.

OOC: RAW you only get back half your level in Hit Dice on a Long Rest.
OOC: Wow that's wierd. I've been doing it wrong for years!
And you didn't add your CON bonus to your rolls.
OOC: True, but like I said, Toots was already past Max. Healing for 28 HP instead of 20 is irrelevant when she was only down 12. (She spent a lot of time tuning and only got hit once by that AoE at the end.)
A short rest is a period of downtime, at least 1 hour long, during which a character does nothing more strenuous than eating, drinking, reading, and tending to wounds.
A character can spend one or more Hit Dice at the end of a short rest, up to the character's maximum number of Hit Dice, which is equal to the character's level. For each Hit Die spent in this way, the player rolls the die and adds the character's Constitution modifier to it. The character regains hit points equal to the total (minimum of 0). The player can decide to spend an additional Hit Die after each roll. A character regains some spent Hit Dice upon finishing a long rest, as explained below.
**You can roll your hit dice to heal. You have hit dice equal to your level. You add your CON mod to each die you roll. You regain some of them during a Long Rest
LONG REST
A long rest is a period of extended downtime, at least 8 hours long, during which a character sleeps for at least 6 hours and performs no more than 2 hours of light activity, such as reading, talking, eating, or standing watch. If the rest is interrupted by a period of strenuous activity - at least 1 hour of walking, fighting, casting spells, or similar adventuring activity - the characters must begin the rest again to gain any benefit from it.
At the end of a long rest, a character regains all lost hit points. The character also regains spent Hit Dice, up to a number of dice equal to half of the character's total number of them (minimum of one die). For example, if a character has eight Hit Dice, he or she can regain four spent Hit Dice upon finishing a long rest.
A character can't benefit from more than one long rest in a 24-hour period, and a character must have at least 1 hit point at the start of the rest to gain its benefits
**You get back all of your HP. You get back all of your spell slots. You get back half of your hit dice.

The blue creature chitters and squeaks at you. You get the words/feelings of loss, sadness, fear, and hunger. When it grasps your hand, you feel the heat drain out of it. Your hand and arm become cold as it remains in contact with the creature.
*Toots has already opened the second box, she did it as soon as she saw how cute the first critter was.*
The cold is a little uncomfortable but the creature seems pleased and more relaxed as you cuddle it. At the end of your short rest, the creature has changed color from blue to grey to brown. It squats and lets loose a few pieces of ice from its rear, then curls up to nap near you.
