I was just bored and looking for a little fun when this crazy cat lady, an orcish wizard, and the biggest elf I have ever seen bust out of a tavern in the middle of a brawl with a whole gang of goblins and their bosses. It looked like a fun fight, so I joined in and we trounced ‘em. They decided I was a good egg and invited me to join them on their adventures, and I agreed.

"It is me, Bob the wizard. I killed the Great Snake, defeated a mighty Gnoll, and stole a feather from the Raven Queen. For reference, I totally did all those things and none of those events are exaggerated or false."

My family died in a horrible accident I caused.  Now I'm on the run searching for enough power to undo it and will cross any line to get it.  Sorry not Sorry.

Dust Ketchup, Halfling Ranger / Animal Trainer

I was in my grandfather’s workshop blowing a new piece, the sweat dripping from my pate in the heat from the furnaces when I heard the bell that indicates someone had entered the front door chimed. In had walked a stranger to those parts, as everyone in town new everyone else, and he casually approached me. He said he had been looking for a girl like me to turn into a powerful heroine, and asked me to join him, and I said yes.

I’ve always been obsessed with botany in my hometown. On the same day that my best friend in town disappeared, a new plant that no one could identify appeared. Since no one in town trusted this plant, and they thought it was a bad omen, I’m going adventuring to find out more about it and discover what happened to my friend.

It was dusk, and I was alone with my sweetheart, holding him in my arms and whispering sweet nothings in his ear when suddenly he asked me to run away with him and go find a life for ourselves together away from all the awkward stares we got in our home village. I said “yes,” and away we ran along a short but eventful path together filled with danger and heartache. Although we both made it, our love wasn’t strong enough to survive the journey, so I find myself single and looking for a party of adventurers who are looking for a burley strong man who’s good with an axe like myself.

I watched as everyone sufferd while the rich gained notoriety amongst eachother.

I got tired of the sickness, mud, falling buildings insults to community, these insults...no...threats to us  all, to stay in line.

But if i can change my face maybe i can change my class and hopefully no one gets hurt in the middle.

I went to visit my Granny in the woods only to discover she had succumbed to lycanthropy. We fought, but I don't know what happened to her as I woke up miles away from her cabin with only a bite wound on my neck and the tattered clothes on my back to show for our altercation. I travelled back to the cabin to find it almost burned to the ground and sifting through the embers I found no sign of my Granny but I did find her old recipe books which turned out to be a bit more alchemical than I thought, so now I must seek out Granny and find out what happened.

My mother is a famous wizardess, her sister is a famous wizardess, their mother was a famous wizardess, and on and on… you get the idea. So there was no way I was going to grow up to become anything other than a wizardess, but I was not going to do it in Menzoberranzan under my mother’s thumb, no way, no how. So now I’ve set off to find my own way in the world, and I’ll do it with the education my family insisted I recieve.

My clan chieftain selected a number of us to test ourselves in the gauntlet of pain, and I finished first proving myself to be the strongest and toughest of us, and earning myself rank and renown among my people. It was my focus, my quiet fury that saw me through the gauntlet, that drove me to finish. Now I must go out into the world and bring honor to my clan through my deeds.

I was a successful merchant who cared nothing for my workers or those around me, I cared only for money. One Night I was visited by three spirits who showed me the error of my ways and I swore to leave the world a better place and help people find the love they lost in life and be a more charitable soul. I am a champion of redemption and second chances and live life by the mantra "It's never too late to turn over a new leaf".

*Guild Artisan + Paladin Oath of Redemption = Ebenezar Scrooge, of course there is always the chance a DM may reveal that the "spirits" that visited you were all a ruse by rivals who wanted you out of the way so a flip to Oath of Vengeance or possibly Oathbreaker could be in the cards should you discover the subterfuge.

I used to be a lord of a neighbouring region, but my daughter usurped my throne. I managed to kill the assassin sent for me, and burned their corpse with my jewels to fake my death. I took up the assassin's blade and am learning the rogueish ways so that I may one day put down the daughter that betrayed me.

I used to spend my days frolicking in the glades with dryads and fairies, but when my father died my brother and I inherited his titles and responsibilities. My brother inherited the title of Fey Lord, and I inherited the title of Defender of the Glades and all the responsibilities that come with it. I joined a monastery so I could learn to fight, and now I travel the world to gain the experience I need to become a master so I can one day return to the glades I am sworn to protect so others can frolic as freely as I used to under my father’s protection.
