For example, a video could provide a detailed tutorial on how to use a certain software program or an infographic could explain the basics of quantum mechanics.
This thread is a copy of the thread from here. The goal is to give anyone looking for general advice a single location from which they can find almost anything they could need. Of course some of these items may be redundant with the compendium here on D&D Beyond. If you find useful resources beyond what is listed here, I'll see about including them in the post.

A user on the enworld.org forums by the name of Mistwell is apparently responsible for saving many of the threads thought lost in the WOTC forum shutdown. Thank you Mistwell
A similar thread by HeirRaktus on the community.wizards.com website was used to locate additional content. This thread no longer exists
WOTC resources section shamelessly stolen from an archived post belonging to Jkat718
This thread is the unofficial successor to "The META THREAD of useful things!", created by Corinath here Corinath then essentially disappeared. Rather than letting it die, this version was posted to keep the index growing
I'm currently writing a blot dedicated to A) Using various features, in particular traps and terrain, to build combat encounters that maximize each monster's natural abilities, and challenge your players to the utmost. B) Suggesting other monsters from the Monster Manual that will combine well with each monster.
I am going in order, I started at the beginning of the Monster Manual and I just finished demons.
If interested, see Dragonencounters.com. (You'll have to enter it manually into google. D&D beyond keeps thinking that I want to link to an area within the site.)
Because other player made content was mentioned here, and because my blog is organized (so many other blogs are random collections of various advice, with mine you can look for exactly what you need.) I decided to let myself mention it.
DM, writer, and blog master of https://dragonencounters.com/ a blog dedicated to providing unusual, worthwhile encounters for each monster, making each one unique.
Also, suggestions for which monsters might be found together (for people tired of dungeons full of one humanoid race, and perhaps a few beasts and undead.)
