I have been looking through others homebrew contents and haven't found what I am looking for so attempting to make my own. Essentially all I wants is a plain mace for a paladin that rolls both the normal 1d6 weapon damage and the 1d8 radiant damage I get from Improved Divine Smite. I like to use the functionality within DnD Beyond while we play and the ability to just click my weapon damage and have it both roll and account for both the 1d6 and 1d8 would be a boon instead of creating a 'separate attack' function that simply rolls a 1d8 for radiant damage. Current non-functional version has been made public called "Divine Smiter" which shows the 1d8 radiant damage but does not roll for it when used.
Any help or guidance to a very new player would be greatly appreciated.

Only way I've found to do it is to add a separate attack.

When I created a Drake Bite for my Drakewarden, I used a flame tongue base to have both piercing and elemental damage.
You must be using Beyond20 then, because DDB’s system cannot add those rolls together automatically at this time.
Aside from using a browser extension like Falconcry, this 👆is the only current solution.

You are correct Sposta, I do use Roll20, DDB, and Beyond20.
I appreciate the help all. Looks like I will keep a second attack to add in the damage I suppose though it's less than ideal.
