So I'm trying to make my Vampire character. But I'm not sure how to proceed with this. There's no vampire class or race as far as I can see. So how do I get my guy from my paper and into D&D Beyond? Any ideas?
Have a look for Planeshift: Ixalan. its a D&D/Magic the Gathering Cross over and has a vampire race in it, not as powerful as the monster version but thematic enough. I dont think its on d&db but you could make a human homebrew if it is for personal use.

* Need a character idea? Search for "Rob76's Unused" in the Story and Lore section.
You won't be able to on DDB without delving into homebrew. The closes you could get is the Critical Role blood hunter class. I would take Variant Human as my race, to get a sweet feat and then take Blood Hunter as my class.
Drow plus one of the spookier classes like death domain cleric, shadow sorc, or shadow monk could get you most of the way there.
Also the Wildemount book has a kind of undead template you can put onto a character called Hollow One.
Or are you saying you already have a character made? Are you sure you're in the right edition of D&D? Previous editions had vampire stuff but 5e currently does not.

@Rob76 is the vampire in Planeshift: Ixalan a Sengir Vampire?
no sadly they are part of a group called the legion of dusk, so no Baron Sengir or Uncle Istvan. To quote a bit of their fluff:
"The society of the Legion of Dusk is built around the rites and devotion of a powerful church, led by undead paladins who sustain themselves on the blood of their enemies. After seven hundred years of war that saw them march across the entirety of their home continent, the vampires of the Legion have come to add Ixalan to their territory."
Side note, also worth seeking out those planeshift bits if you are interested in playing a merfolk as they have them as a race as well.

I don't know if you know this, but based on your phrasing probably not. If DNDBEYOND is your only source to play D&D with, look above. Otherwise, if you can use paper characters sheets, MM has rules for player character vampires and you can simply use that. That and lycanthropy are actually two things I've been hoping DNDBEYOND implements when they overhaul chargen.
Edit: i screwed up when reading ur post, ignore this then. Otherwise, no there is no MM vampire in DNDBEYOND, but others in this thread pointed out alternatives.
You can add the template from the Monster Manual, as other have said. You could homebrew their race to add the vampire traits.
If it helps, and as a shameless plug, I made a homebrew half-vampire if you want some of the aesthetic without a character that will be useless in all daylight-based adventures: the Dhamphir (<< clicky). Maybe that'll be useful if not to use then maybe to inspire.

A caffeinated nerd who has played TTRPGs or a number of years and is very much a fantasy adventure geek.

This is so cool! Thank you 😊😊😊. I love the part about the colors of Magic.
There is no way to do this on DNDBeyond, but the MM has a template for characters that become vampires.
There is no dawn after eternal night.
Homebrew: Magic items, Subclasses
There is also Vampires on page 14 of Plane Shift Zendikar:

Thanks. It’s not my question, but I like vampires too.
