Curious if anyone has homebrewed a barbarian with a Bow? I think the idea of a raging bowman who can take your limbs off with an arrow would be pretty cool. My mind goes to Princess Mononoke when Ashitaka's arm swells when he uses the bow and decapitates a dude. I've seen a few things of just using a fighter and adding some feats and stuff, but I just wondered if anyone had come up with something :)
I actually do not know, maybe be there are some in the homebrew collections browse homebrew cause I do not know, and if there isn't maybe you can try by creating it yourself.
I think the issue is that this would be pushing against several features of the base class. Rage is based off Strength-based melee weapon attacks. Reckless Attack is based off Strength-based melee weapon attacks. Attacking from the back ranks squanders your damage resistance. It's just baked into the class that you're a melee fighter.
It's a cool idea, but I think mechanically it just works much better with a fighter or ranger or even a rogue.
