I'm working on a homebrew sorcerer subclass similar to the Draconic Bloodline in that you get to choose a type of ancestry at 1st level. I want these options to show up in the character builder, but they're also showing up with extra text on the class description/splash (?) page. I don't want that. I can't see any difference between the settings I put on my custom option and the already existing ones.
Unfortunately you can't right now. There is an internal use only setting that toggles if that text should be displayed or not. It isn't available to set in the public homebrew tools.
For unpublished homebrews you (the author) can see all of the options listed, but nobody else will be able to see them. So if you have a friend in the campaign who can access that subclass, they won’t be able to read the Options descriptions at all. I believe those only become visible to everyone when you publish a subclass.

Arrow pointing to what I don't want to see. Help.
Hi, did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue but can't figure out how to fix it. Thanks@
