I like the conceit of the spell, but I have some questions: is the intent that the difference between the web being 45ft and 90ft that the shorter one is invisible, and the longer one isn't? Are they supposed to do the same thing, or slightly different things? Their current wording isn't identical but are very close to each other so I can't tell.
Also, does the web span across the ground? It seems like it should, if it doesn't detect anything in the air. The idea is sorta like a radar blip, right? Again, it's a cool idea, but the wording might need some cleaning up to give more clarity.
EDIT: Also, one says a radius of 45 feet and the other says a cone of 90 feet. Those are two very different things and I'm not even sure how to interpret the "radius of 45 feet".
They are both meant to be invisible, and it is correct that it spans across the ground, it works like a radar blip would.
The clap with the hands is a circle centered on you with a radius of 45 feet, and the cone is a cone of 90 feet. So you either have a choice to scan far in one direction or in shorter range but in an area around you..

Is this spell too strong for a 1st level? If so, what level would you put it at instead?

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

I think the spell works just fine, though I'd personally make it 2nd-level.
