Don’t be. I never knew as much LotR as you when I was your age, I could barely manage to read RotK without falling asleep.
Thanks. you know, so little people respect LotR these days. I read them when I was 11 and thought they were the best ever, and I'm the only person I know (Not including you guys) that has even read them at my age, and even if they have they think they are boring. Even if they are like 20. Which is so stupid.

Oropher actually was the lord of the woodland realm before Thranduil’s reign. As for lindon during the first age, it away ruled by Denethor (Elf not steward) although during that time it was called ossiriand. Lindon only came into use after the fall of beleriand

I just wish, like, 20 people that go to my school would love LotR. Then I'd be satisfied.

He actually lived in Mirkwood? I thought that he died before it started.

Oropher? Oh yes... Also, I misspoke. Denethor died before the start of the first age, sorry

Whew, for a minute I thought I had got something wrong about LOTR.

I respect LOTR! You are not alone. My relative is being Gimli for Halloween, and another one is being Legolas. Lots of people like LOTR.
Everyone I’ve played D&D with has watched LOTR, plus all my friends love it. Course me and my friends are incredibly nerdy, so I cannot say whether or not popular people currently like it.

From what I've seen, they do. It's just an amazing movie, and (probably) a better book.
*slaps face* you mean you were right and your sorry for me. *slams head on table. Screams in pain, dad asks what wrong, says that he’s fine, he’s not* (that just happened)
Crap I'm so stupid. I'm ashamed

Yeah, I also read LotR when I was around 11. (I haven't watched the books, same for Harry Potter)
