Soldaer laughs, easily dodging the attack. He grabs the cork from the bottle of Feywine and flicks it at her.
"Gah!" She yelps, leaning back to far in her chair to try and dodge
The chairs tips over, dumping her on the floor, but she dodges the cork.
"Hehe, missed!" SHe mumbles, sprawled on the floor
"So did you!" Soldaer says, nearly falling out of his chair laughing.
"Blah! So be it"
Soldaer does actually end up falling to the floor, and when he finally stops laughing, he gets up and makes his way over to Nia. "Would you like some help there, Nia?"
"Nah, the floors lovely," She says sarcastically, holding up a hand
Soldaer laughs, and pulls her to her feet.
"Thanks mate." She smiles, Tapping his chest
Her nail causes a ting! as she taps one of the Mithral bands across the leather armor he's wearing. Soldaer chuckles. "You know what, I think I may go take this off and get a little more comfortable. I mean, it's not like anyone's gonna bother us in here, and there's not anything that'll hurt me."
"Hey, i'm dangerous. Kinda," She says, despite being much shorter than him now"
He chuckles, and moves over to the rack near the bed, and removes his weapon belt and armor. "Oh yeah, you're sooo dangerous, Nia." He says teasingly.
"I can be supr cool!"
Soldaer laughs. "I didn't say you weren't cool, just not dangerous, Nia."
She throws a spork at him
He catches it, laughing. "Really, Nia? A spork?"
"I don't keep weapons on me!"
Soldaer laughs. "Well, as long as you stay in the Tavern, then you'd be safe. You can't get hurt in the tavern, and neither can anything be broken."
"I figured as such, since it didn't hurt to fall over."
Soldaer laughs. "Fair enough. I've gotten used to it, so I barely even notice it anymore." He looks over at her. "You realize that there's gonna be a dance at the wedding, don't you?" He asks, the same twinkle from earlier coming to his eyes.
"Oh i'm very good at dancing. Remember the festivals back home?"
Soldaer laughs again, smiling. "Of course I do! Although this will be a bit more of a formal dance than those festivals back home."
"You were good at formality, but not at asking people to dance." She teases, "Especially me for some reason."
He shrugs. "Well, in that case." He bows, and offers his hand to Etheaonia, "May I have this dance, Etheaonia?" He asks, smiling somewhat mischievously.
*Back!*
She smiles and does a little curtsey, "Sure, Soldaer," She takes his hand
Soldaer smiles, whistling a few short notes as the floor in the corner shifts and a record player of sorts emerges from the floor, and starts playing. As soon as it begins, Soldaer starts dancing, gliding across the floor in perfect synch with the music, smiling the entire time, that same twinkle in his eyes still, which only seems to have gotten stronger know that he's looking Nia right in the eyes and dancing with her.
Nia smiles and joins in dancing, sweeping across the floor in long graceful steps in tune to the music
Soldaer's smile only grows as the song goes on, and as he spins Nia a few times, obviously enjoying this. As the song comes to a close, Soldaer spins her one last time, and puts her into a deep dip right as last notes end and seem to linger in the air. Soldaer gazes right into Nia's eyes, his seemingly sparkling with joy and...something else that she can't quite put her finger on.
Lysander rolls his eyes and cleans himself with prestigitation. He turns to Theseus, "Have you made any friends here?"
The smol points to Lysander
He frowns and thinks over stuff. "What do you know about old age? Specifically what it leads to."
Theseus only says “fighting” in an almost whisper [[lmao he’s 15 and just bolts from his house cuz his parents were being loud, then again to him everything is like ten times louder]]
Lysander rolls his eyes, and casts silence.
Messge: Better?
Much, thank you
Theseus hugs Lysander
Good. Now, I am old and weary and I will... die soon. They admit to the kid
[[ Theseus ain’t wrong tho lmao ]]
oh… I will miss you… can you- can you teach me magic? Theseus looks up at Lysander hopefully
I can try what I must. What do you want to learn?
*AKA Lysander is slated to die on Friday*
The one you did to make everything silent.. and maybe a healing spell too
Theseus looked hopeful
please
[[Eeeeee]]
*Too bad Lysander doesn't really care for him*
Too little time. I can make you maybe a cantrip wizard, but not a one that can cast silence
I see, that’s ok I’m happy I can learn at least a bit
[[ well obviously he cares for Theseus at least a bit, why else would he have helped him? He never needed to ]]
*He needs to PR, to convice the more powerful creatures to kill Asmdoues. Long story*
Sure. But I need to disable the magic, okay?

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
"Then you can easily imagine Carceri as just millions of years of betraying and being forced to betray... the plane is the nicest of all the lower ones but it bites away at your trust after a while... How is ruling a kingdom?" They say, changing the subject
"Tiring. Especially after a war that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives... Even still, no one's sure how many were killed, and more are sure to die in the aftermath..."
"I see... And I am guessing much rebuilding must be done? Especially with the army."
"Yes. The Silver City was attacked multiple times, and while it never suffered much damage, the outlying villages were reduced to rubble multiple times. Surprisingly, my army survived relatively unscathed. I mean, nearly three quarters of it was lost in the first four years, but we've had another twelve to build it back up, during which time it hasn't taken more than 10% worth of casualties. Of course, those are just the Silver Armies; many other allied nations suffered far greater losses."
"Mmm... I see. But at least they are now battle-exspirenced, right? Tempered by the fires of war?"
Caelum's mouth twitches, like she's holding back a smile. "They were always battle experienced. Of course, this is more than usual, but they're GemBlades; they are the most experienced soldiers you could wish for. I just... Cyatra is the best. If she could get over the fact I'm marrying Phantom..." her smile turns into a sad frown.
"I see. When is the wedding?"
"Soon."
*Hopefully Wednesday.*
"Good. I will be alive then. Who is invited?"
"Practically everyone who can make it. Save a few, such as Xorius."
"Xorius? Also, I am included?" They say, interested
"Hmm. You haven't given us reason to dislike you, so you can have a normal invite. And yes, Xorius, the evil devil who's a complete party crasher."
"Oh... Has he left?"
"Well, I haven't seen him in a while... Maybe Atemos finally got fed up and tore his head off."

"You are rather inquisitive, aren't you?" Phantom says with a laugh. "And sure."
"Well believe it or not, but I don't talk to dragons much." He says, jokingly. "Anyway, how do you control your aura of fear?"
"It is a learned skill. It is rather like how you humanoids would intimidate a single person, albeit on a larger scale. As for who we chose is effected by it..." Phantom shrugs. "Your guess is as good as mine."
"I see... I wanted to make a magic item that caused fear but I never got it right." They say shruging and continuing to walk
"So where are the plants?"
"Most of them, as I said, are going to be in the Firantin forest, which is quite a ways out." Phantom keeps walking, leading them through several other passages, and seemingly bypassing the main chamber altogether. Eventually they come to the entrance, which is a scenic overlook about 17,000 feet up the side of a massive mountain. All around is the rest of the range, and far off in the distance, you think you can make out a hint of green: the Firantin Forest.
