Here’s a couple I came up with for the city of Cliffside in one of Wysp’s PbP campaigns you might be able to use if you want:
Name: Morrowyear Celebration: New Years Detail: Every citizen of the city participated in a candle lit vigil and sings the customary song at “Daychange” (when one day officially becomes the next).
Name: Frostbreak Celebration: The first day of spring Detail: Citizens celebrate by breaking Frostballs* over each others heads.
*When Frostrbreak*^ got adopted by the topside inhabitants of Cliffside, confectioners began making a seasonal specialty called “frostballs,” small, hollow spheres of frosted sugar containing a tiny toy. It is now a beloved holiday treat enjoyed by children and adults up and down the cliff. The custom is to “Break the Frost” over someone to shower them with sweet tidings and a surprise gift. *^Originally a working class celebration of the day each spring over the announcement that ice in the lock steps had sufficiently melted to reopen them.*^^ Popularity for the celebration quickly spread upcliff to the wealthier inhabitants and was eventually designated an official holiday. The city having grown to include much of the Cliffside itself, as well as the top and bottom, a frozen lock is no longer a problem. Since then the date has been tied to the lunar calendar and marks the official first day of spring. *^^At that time, the city’s existence was directly related to the canals and the first lock steps. Almost 30% of Cliffside inhabitants worked directly on the canals as lockworkers performing maintenance or emergency services or security, dockworkers at both top and bottom of the cliff including stevedores, and independent maintenance, emergency and security services; the crews for the various cargo ferries that transferred cargo up and down the locks for ships at either at either end, or as one of the Lockmen.*^^^ Another 10% provided ancillary support in the for the same companies. 25% were either government or public employees. The rest retail and service industry workers. Since then the city has grown to include much of the cliff face itself and exists to support itself. *^^^An old colloquial term for those now referred to simply as Lock Pilots. brave pepoe who’s job it is to relieve Ships’ Captains of command and pilot unfamiliar vessels through the locks up and down the cliff. One accident could shut down the locks for days. It is traditional to always wish the Lock Pilots safe passage.
Name: Town Founding Festival Celebration: Anniversary of Cliffside’s founding Details: A 3-day festival which includes the erection of a giant carrousel.*
*Every year a three-day celebration takes place in Cliffside to celebrate the city’s founding. As part of that celebration a giant carousel is installed in Clifftop District directly at the cliff’s edge and uses the flow of the falls to power the mechanism. The axel of the carousel is anchored at the very edge of the cliff itself so that almost exactly half of the wheel extends out past the cliff, suspended over nothing but air. Passengers can enjoy a spectacular view of the whole countryside as their seats are rotated out overhanging the falls. To facilitate the installation, an elaborate series of scaffolding must be erected each year. The sight of those scaffolds being constructed is always anxiously anticipated by Cliffside’s inhabitants as the first telltale sign that the Founding Festival is only days away.
I could maybe help you invent some for your world as well if you want.
QotD: What holidays have you invented for your or your DMs’ campaign world(s), if any? And if you haven’t invented any, why not?
I'd like to come up with some more, but there are two that I know for certain.
Chariot's Leave, on the first day of Winter, is when Persephone leaves Demeter to live in the House of Hades. Celebrations include eating pomegranates, cursing Hades, burying the dead with flowers (should any die on the day), and having extra piety to Demeter. It also acts as a sort of Mother's Day. Traditionally, a mother and her eldest daughter split a pomegranate in two, and each eat exactly half. Some celebrate by finalizing their nut stashes, but they're mostly squirrels.
Chariot's Return, on the first day of Summer, is when Persephone leaves the House of Hades and returns to her mother. Celebrations include blowing up or otherwise destroying pomegranates, cursing Hades, and being thankful for daughters. Demeter likes this celebration in honor of her daughter, so she makes sure plenty of pomegranates become available in the weeks leading up to it.
Oh, and great heroes are often celebrated on the anniversaries of their deaths. That bit is straight out of Greece. The word "hero" actually comes from the Greek word for year because of how they were celebrated. I think.

QotD: What holidays have you invented for your or your DMs’ campaign world(s), if any? And if you haven’t invented any, why not?
I've not made up any, other than ones already based on real holidays.
There's The Hollowing - which is my "Halloween" throughout the year. During the Hollowing, veil between life and death is at it's weakest, dead arise, demons play havoc, and magic goes side ways sometimes (custom "Wild Magic" chart every year with up to 100 different effects).
The Day of Giving, which as you might guess is my version of Christmas. In game, any game in December, there's an NPC Nikalos, who comes to the heroes with various missions. Recovering his bag of holding, finding a missing reindeer, locating a gem of light and levitation, restoring hope in someone who has lost faith inn the Day of Giving, so on and so on.
Day of Valen Tyne. Lady Valen Tyne was someone who sacrificed herself to save many whom she loved. She gives those who deserve it a necklace of inspiration with three charges. This is as one might guess Valentine's Day.
There's other holidays, but they rarely come up for RP purposes, because we're typically already in the middle of adventure (since adventurers, once they're on their way, rarely seem to sit in a town for very long before trouble finds them or someone needs them to do something).
The three above holidays can happen any time. Hollowing happens in October, Day of Giving and Nikalos showing up can happen in the middle of an adventure, and Day of Valen Tyne, heroes can wake up from a night's rest suddenly wearing a necklace with Lady Valen Tyne's symbol.
QotD: What holidays have you invented for your or your DMs’ campaign world(s), if any? And if you haven’t invented any, why not?
Autumn Equinox >> The Day of Preparation for Storms and Challenges, Gratitude, Harvest Festival. High Holy Day.
Carnivale >> A Day for A Massive Party.
Children’s Festival >> The Festival of Youth, of New Life, of Hope.
Closing >> Preparing for Onset of the Worst of Winter.
Dreamer’s Day >> A Day to Celebrate Artistry and Artists, Crafts and Craftsmanship.
Fresh Festival >> Spring Growth and Early Fruits.
Ghost Festival >> A Wild Festival that recognizes the Desire to Remember and Be Reunited with Those Who Are Gone. Masks are worn to protect from possible harm by Malevolent Ghosts. Shamans are busy.
HeartFestival >> Romance and Fertility Festival.
Hearth Festival >> A Time to Recognize Parents and recall Home.
Heritage Day >> A Day to Reconnect with Family Bonds, renew Oaths.
Sojourn’s Day >> Commemorating the Landing and the Bleak Journey.
Sorrows Day >> Early Spring, honoring Fallen Soldiers and those Marching to War.
Spring Equinox >> Spring Festival, usually to celebrate Belonging; New Year’s Festival. High Holy Day.
Summer Solstice >> A Time to Relax and attend to Needed Personal Things. High Holy Day.
Self Day >> A Day for Self-Care and Reflection, Growth, and Passages.
Wind’s Day >> A Day to Honor the Faerie and the Powers.
Winter Solstice >> Festival of Hearth and Home, Family and Bonds. High Holy Day.
Yule Festival >> A Day to Recognize and Give Gifts to Those you Love.
Local Festivals >> Assorted local festivals held in different realms according to local history, usually 6 to 12 additional ones. Unstated so I can make them up on the spot.
Not a Holiday, but a required meeting of all the leaders of the Bright Realms happens early each year (middle to end of first month), called the Convocation. They hate it, but it keeps the peace and things go strangely horrible for them if they try to skip it.
The same Calendar and holidays are celebrated by goblins, bugbears, kobolds, grendels, imps, elves, dwarves, humans, tritons, merow, and all the therians.
13 months of 28 days (four 7 day weeks per). No leap days, no calendar adjustments.
One day is exactly 24 hours, divided into 6 Bells (Dawn, Morning, Afternoon, Dusk, Evening, Night).
Most "terms" are reckoned in Seasons, not months, so the month names are rarely used. Days of the week have different names, not always used. Rent and taxes are paid seasonally, for example.
Three moons, with Spring Equinox having all of them full, the only time they are all perfectly aligned. Largest moon take up roughly your palm (minus fingers and thumb) in the sky, next largest half that, smallest the size of a fingertip.

I would like to make more, but I haven't taken the time to do it yet. I do have a haunted harvest festival modeled after Halloween and a midwinter holiday modeled after Christmas. Of course New Years celebrations are also a thing. I also have:
Wren's Day: Modeled after the real Wren's Day from Ireland. Folks go out in masks and costumes to hunt down a wren, kill it, parade it around town, and bury it ceremoniously. According to legend, the Wren is a treacherous practitioner of the dark arts. It can shapeshift into many different forms and it commits acts of betrayal almost habitually. This is why they hunt it down and kill it annually. The Robin is also celebrated during this time.
Thornberry Festival: A small regional holiday celebrated by a specific community of halflings. It occurs around the time of the thornberry harvest and involves a complicated dance of spinning in a large group while holding thorny vines.
Danse Macabre: A special time when the dead are allowed to return to the land of the living for one night. A huge dance is held between the living and the dead and the spirits depart once more in the morning. The living wake up with no memory of the event and the dead will not speak of it to anyone who still has a pulse. (Shamelessly stolen from Neil Gaiman)

Question: When you dm do you use voices for characters?
Whenever I can, yeah. At least for special NPCs. For more generic NPCs I might not do a “voice” per se, but depending on where they’re from I do have some specific figures of speech and stuff. People from Safe Harbor are habitually use the phrase “if you catch my meanin’” a lot and sound like New Englanders, people from Glantri speak with a Frenchish accent, people from Karameikos sound Eastern Europeanish. (I say “ish” because I’m not very good with accents. 😂😂) When I was a little kid my mom used to read to me and she always did voices for different characters, so I guess I got it from her.
QotD: What holidays have you invented for your or your DMs’ campaign world(s), if any? And if you haven’t invented any, why not?
I'm a little late here, but I stole one from Bruce Cordell's The Gates of Firestorm Peak, called Firefestival. For the background, Firestorm Peak is home to an ancient, intermittantly open "vast gate" created by the elder elves, who accidentally connected the gate to the Far Realm. When the Dragon's Tear, a celestial object, passes over the peak it lights up in a brilliant display which also serves to power the gate. So the Firefestival commemorates an event which is in actuality quite dangerous for the surrounding region.
Another, similar holiday, could be the Crystal Eclipse, which commemorates the first passing of a celestial body made of crystal, which heralded the first psionic awakening in mortals.
The Dragonflight Festival could be a celebration with fireworks that coincides with the migratory patterns of a venerable family of metallic dragons.
Spellforge Day could be a day when wizards and scholars create and practice brand new spells. Historically, this day is associated with both triumph and chaos.
