Oh this sounds like a interesting story, please tell us more.
ok
so i was dm and the main villain was trying to take over the world by enchanting all the nobles to read from a scroll that says that she is now noble. my older brother was a rogue so he wrote his name on a before it was red
have you ever had the nigh-uncontrollable urge to show up with 622089 character sheets, one for every possible combination of class, race, subclass, and background, and ask your DM to look over them all, and deiced which one fits the campaign best, just to see the look on the DM's face?
No, but in my 2E days I played a character with 26 different personalities. DM would randomly roll a D20 and a D6 together and I would flip to that page, mid whatever, combat, convo, no matter what. Made for an interesting character.

Wouldn’t that be 25 personalities (1 is impossible)?

All hail the great and mighty platypus.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

Rangers are not underpowered. They’re just exploration-oriented.
Has anyone ever had the nigh-uncontrollable urge to make sound effects for everything they narrate, just to see the look on your DM’s face?
Nope. Have you ever had the nigh-uncontrollable urge to create a puzzle as a DM that literally had no solution, just to see the look on your players' faces?

Has anyone ever had the urge to use radiant soul (Protector Aasimar racial trait) as the cleric magically creates a angelic chorus, tricking the orcs you are fighting into thinking the cleric summoned a angel?
Has anyone ever had the nigh uncontolablle urge to just try to kill every single person you meet including the other party members just to see the look on your dms face
Has anyone ever had the nigh-uncontrollable urge to seduce and adopt every single monster you see just to see the look on your DM’s face?
Actually yes and I started a animal sanctuary and my pet talking vegetarian picky owlbear whos mom was auril the frostmaiden from icewind dale turned out to be the god of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We never actually finished the campaign because we left to my characters tropical island
Welp, I know what Im doing next session.

you need to make a question
I exist sometimes, especially when I'm DMing Curse of Strahd.
No they don’t. It’s an “at will” kinda thing.
