Got together with a guy thinking we'd play Civ V. Then, in a twist of fate, a guy who's usually really busy ended up being free. So we did a D&D sess instead.
Ended up fighting off a bullywug pirate ship and then the drunk captain crashed our ship into an island.
Out of curiosity do any of you know of a disoriented condition from a third party sourcebook? Current DM uses a generator for stat blocks and it seems to like using that condition despite it not existing in standard 5e rules.

The "disoriented" condition isn't part of the official Dungeons & Dragons rules but has been introduced in various third-party and homebrew materials. For instance, a Reddit post on r/UnearthedArcana describes "disoriented" as affecting spellcasters' concentration and casting abilities. Another source, Hipsters & Dragons, proposes a similar condition called "dazed," which impairs a creature's reactions, ability checks, and attack rolls. These adaptations aim to introduce a condition that hinders a creature without rendering it completely incapacitated.

Well, I guess he has a big down-side though. If he messes up a spell too many times, then they come and literally erase the dimension that he failed the spell in.
