Here’s one. Do you think, if aliens exist, our sun could be a part of their ‘constellations’?
I think not. I think we live too far away from anything smart, cus the closest nearly confirmed traces of life has cells, and then there is the moon called Europa, that we think has life under an ICE SHEET. So nah prbly not. Of course any of the others in our system could have them.
Consider the existence of 51 Pegasi B. Though it’s a gas giant, the fact that it orbits a star incredibly similar to ours (51 Pegasi) and is incredibly similar to Jupiter (Referred to as hot Jupiter) makes it incredibly plausible for other stars like it to form, but instead being terrestrial. Since 51 Pegasi is part of the Pegasus constellation, it’s pretty easy to infer that other star’s system like it exist in other constellations

Am I the only person that keeps pronouncing "githzerai" as "githerazi"?
I think what happened is that I was like. Oh yeah there's Githyanki. So it makes sense the githzerai githerazi would have a similar pronunciation.
On a similar note I see "La Vielle Ferme" (wine brand) and keep thinking it's "Vielle Femme."
Tbh I don't think I've ever said "Githzerai" audibly so the pronunciation never really occured to me
I mean it makes sense but same with me
Oh hey guys has it ever occurred to you that the universe might be multi-dimensional, but we can only perceive our three-dimensional surroundings?

Well maybe...I got into a funk this weekend and began to think up some strange things. This was a product:
(Just imagine me speaking this with my deep, David Attenborough-esque voice. Maybe some smooth jazz playing in the background.)
The entire universe is a construct of distances, right? We perceive everything differently based on its distance from us. It's all a game based on how far away something is. Now, there are infinities here -- the building blocks get infinitesimally smaller (since you can keep on asking but what's that made out of?). Cool. But, how do we measure distance? We don't measure it in three dimensions, right? We only measure it in two -- mostly straight lines - since when does distance have volume? You don't draw cylinders to measure the distance from Earth to the Moon, or triangular prisms to tell how far away the tree is. So, if the universe is represented through an infinite quantity of distances, which are two-dimensional, can't every point, which is intersected by infinite distances, be mapped onto a two-dimensional plane? Thus, can't the universe be two-dimensional if we say it's so?
Idk...maybe I'm just tripping.

Thought the dimensions thing was pretty much confirmed.
Also I notice a common spam/scam post on these forums is the "hire a witch to cast a love spell" thing. I wonder if they just target any place they can post or if they think D&D players are more prone to believing their BS.

Where the flaw in your logic resides is that yes, everything is measured in distance which is measured in 2 dimensions, however those 2 dimensional lines extend into the 3rd dimension, depth. Also, everything IS 2 dimensional, because the 3rd dimension contains every dimension before it within itself. Everything is both 1, 2 and 3 dimensional simultaneously.
