I like Spores Druid, Scribes Wizard and Bladesinger, and Way of Mercy in those classes respectively!
As far as homebrew rules, crits do max damage + your damage dice roll, bonus action potion drinking, and I'm generally pretty flexible about whatever someone wants to do at my table.

There's a Spores Druid and Scribes Wizard (or rather, will be since they're currently lv1) in a PBP I'm in. So I guess I'll see secondhand why you like them.
I also like casters myself. (Magic = Awesome.)
