Description
Orcs are burly raiders with prominent lower canines that resemble tusks. They gather in tribes that satisfy their bloodlust by slaying any humanoids that stand against them.
An escaping target wouldn't be hostile, so I think they don't get the extra action. But yeah, scary, isn't it?
I just houserule that they can't use a dash and aggressive move on the same turn. Or I change it to "can attack as a bonus action after dashing".
It often has the same effect, and it makes trying to keep your distance a little more rewarding. It's when they surround you in numbers that they actually get scary.
Orcs that can outrun a wolf on the charge is a little hard for me to parse.
what'd be a good name for an orc war chief (i'm poor so i cant comment on the right page)
Wagoor the Wacker
Can Orcs grow facial hair?
Billy Bob
Yes, just like a human they can grow medium-length beard.
ouch the orc slapped me
Brumlak the Wild or Az the Impaler.
We need a chicken nugget monster
A third person Orc named KLARG is always fun to DM for.
FOR I AM KLARG FACE RIPPER!
If your Orcs don't have a Georgie/Cockney accent, you're doing them wrong.
So I have an orc character I've used in previous games, and am trying to make a character sheet on here, but orcs are only listed as monsters, not a race? Do I need to buy them as a race option, or am I just stupid??
I was mistaken.
@Veltoo: You need to purchase most races that aren't the "default" ones released with the Player's Handbook. Orcs were released with "Volo's Guide To Monsters." You can either purchase that book to get orcs along with a bunch of other races (and new monsters) or you can buy it standalone if it's only the orc you're interested in. Go here for more info.
@SpecialK_47150: You're wrong. Full-blooded orcs have been playable since Volo's Guide which came out in 2016. As with most other races, archetypes, items, backgrounds and monsters that were released after the core books, you need to pay to see them.

it can move up to 90 ft. a round. That’s cool, reminds me of the speed Tolkien emphasized with his Orcs (although they were really more like Goblinoids than Faerun orcs).
