Posts you've Liked have an X instead of up-arrow next to them. You can click that to un-like.
Edit: If you go to your Profile and mouseover the Thanks, it'll say how many you've received and given, so you'll know the scope of it. Then I guess look at your Posts, follow them to their threads, and see what other posts you've liked. I imagine starting with old before new will help keep things from being too "sudden" a change.
Edit2: Aww man and I just passed my 1337th post without noticing!
Grats on the post.
Back on the topic; we shouldn't have to do this at all. The reporting system is kinda important for the homebrew ratings. So walking back and finding everthing and clearing is a horrible workaround.
This is just something that needs clean up; like a ticket to purge what I am guessing is an outdated list of things we have liked.
Agreed. But at least in the meantime, this could help some folks dip back under the limit if they haven't passed it by much.
And hopefully this info you helped put together will let the devs know they need a better way to handle this. (Though I imagine the Like system is from an existing library of such webcode, in which case the library creators need to know too.)

Yeah, assuming you're way beyond the limit at this point, just keep with what you're doing. At least now the staff will have more of a clue of what's causing the problem.

Just had to do the thing to download a PDF of my character. This issue isn't limited to images.
If you didn't like that many posts over time (or homebrew) that is even more puzzling what the cookie is for. It isn't a cache of the results, because unless your sample has more ;
However, any resource outside the stylesheet would be impacted, so PDF's makes sense. I'm not a FE developer so I have no idea why the cookie is constructed and maintained in this way. To isolate this more we would need to start with a brand new user and start watching the cookie over time.
But honestly, @davyd is in a better position to report our findings and get someone who can look at the source and see what's up.
I Reported your post that clarified the problem was due to things a member has Rated/Liked, so that's a ping for them to look at it.
I think the issue is that Mairondil has liked/rated many many posts/homebrews over time, not even necessarily in threads participated in, and it'd be a pain to track all that down.

Sounds like a chrome issue - I had it happen to me on a different site a while back.
I was able to resolve by clearing the browser cache.
Note - when using Chrome, it's possible to just clear cache for the current site:
Activate "dev tool" with ctrl+shift+i or F12
Right-click on the reload button (usually to the left of the address bar - looks like a circular arrow).
Choose "empty cache and hard reload" from the context menu that appears from right-clicking.
It is getting worse and worse, I know have to use this method every time I come to dndb using Chrome. And even then it doesn't always work. In Firefox or Opera(based on Chrome) I don't have this problem.
Might have a bit of an issue for you all: I'm having this issue and have barely any experience with the Forums and Homebrew (at least in terms of liking/disliking). I don't know if that changes anything, but I figured I'd bring it up.

We know it is because the set of cookies are so large, that passing them to the servers creates the error. We isolated one case, but that doesn't mean it is the only one. We are also guessing what the cookies are used for exactly.
All we can do is flush and wait for the issue to be fixed.
Well, offering a potential solution for Edge users:
Setting DnDBeyond to "Clear on Exit" its cookies is currently helping maintain them without me having to manually adjust things each time I load a page.
Dev mode 'clear cache and Hard reload' didn't work but Mairondil's solution worked for me (In settings, I cleared cookies and cache form the last 4 weeks).
I would like to unthank those 192 things. While my Thanks is a show of appreciation or perhaps you made me laugh. If this is the cause of image loading...
Where is my singing cat avatar???? I have to do the workaround on my account page????
Some load, some don't. But I know if I remove the Ratings field from the site cookie and hard refresh, the problem is solved... for that page... in that instant.

The question is then, why does the server insist on reestablishing that cookie? There must be a technical reason for the server to pass it right back and utlitize it.
Not sure if it is related, but I am also now not seeing regular art in source material load. In particular, I was going to review some maps for a quest into Undercliff, and I could not get the maps in either Sword Coast ADventurer's Guide or Waterdeep Dragon's Heist to load. I fortunately have hard-copies of both, but it is a bummer and impedes the useability of the site.
Thanks for going through all of that you guys. This makes a lot of sense on something that has frustrated me for years. I just got tired of purging and stopped using any custom images (which is not a lot of fun). Having created and liked a lot of homebrew and being very active on the forums over long periods of times with lots of likes... I guess I'm resigned to this continuing to be the case. I was surprised when it started happening to official artwork (I was working on some tritons and was looking up different sources... and suddenly none of the artwork was there). Finding hundreds of likes across four years of forum posts? Nah. Going back through the homebrew I've given ratings to in that time as well? No, thank you. There are other ways I can deal with artwork for specific characters.

I don't use chrome; I use Edge and it occurs, whereas when I switch to chrome it doesn't occur.
The cookies are browser specific, so your least used browser will be fine. The only way to get rid of the problem is a hard cookie delete as described earlier.

I have no idea where any of my forum likes are from and I can't imagine going through everything I've posted in to looks for a little X.
Can't I just continue to complain about it until the issue is resolved?
I have mastered removing the field from the cookie and reloading whatever page I'm on in mere seconds.
