Mine seems to be working again, but only if I turn off my VPN. I'm not sure why that would affect loading a character, but with it on I only get a blank page and with it off the character loads fine.
I am unable to access any of my characters, nor am I able to access/view characters in campaigns (both my characters and other accounts via my campaigns). The site times out and tells me to come back "after a short rest".
I understand that some have seen these same errors and others have had their concerns/issues resolved. The timing could not have been worse as I am teaching a creative writing class using DnD and attempting to get my school district on board with DnD Beyond (not blocking the site for my kids to access etc.).
Edit: As of this morning, 1/9, the site appears to be working normally from home.

There are no known issues currently - please can you further explain the issue you are experiencing?
If you read the comments further, I'm not the only one having this issue. I get a kick out of how you guys ask us questions like we don't know WTF we're doing on this site. I've shelled out hundreds of dollars on books, campaigns, and subscriptions on here, and now all of a sudden I don't know what I'm doing?? This site has worked flawlessly for the past year now, but some IT dude decides it's time to mess with the system for an "update" and all hell goes loose!! Why would anyone be willing to invest anymore money into this site if we can't get simple access to the stuff we're purchasing? Not the best business model, if you ask me. I know, I know, "you're doing your best to correct the issues", but these issues should never had been here to fix to begin with!!

I've tried it this morning and it all seems to be running at normal speed and accessible. Thanks so much for all your hard work, D&D Beyond team!
Maybe I'm unique but characters don't seem to load at all except as blank pages today for me. No errors, just no information either.
Edit: as of 9:48 CST I can load characters again.

I can't edit characters, it's loading partials. Like you have a distributed set of DBs and I'm loading between unsynchronized ones or something?

Add the missing features? Race, class, ability scores, skills, specializations... I just don't have those memorized for this character.

I forgot to copy the error window, but when I opened DDB just now, I got the error popup on the main page with the "its on our end" message.
Followed by the "Prove your not a robot" screen.
I will post again with the error message if it happens again.
