Campaign view for PC browser users would be great. I've had to create my own Excel based Party Tracker, but I would rather use a dndbeyond designed tool. Why would anyone want to use a 5.5in screen if they have the option to use a much larger screen?
I use it on my tablet which is quite usable but I agree, we need this!
I would really apreciate being able to rename Monsters in the initiative tracker for My Encounters. Having my players know what they're up against because of the name, or rather requiring me to make a homebrewed identical copy without the creature's name, are both tiring results of the inability to do this.
I recognize that I am using the Beyond20 app to keep initiative tracked in Roll20 through DNDBeyond, but the issue remains all the same, and I know other people have wanted this feature implemented for various other reason as well.
Indeed. They could even fix it quickly by letting us replace base class features when homebrewing subclasses, as opposed to only letting us replace subclass features.
Am I silly for wanting the "Campaign" section in the Encounter Builder to include a drop-down that allows you to directly select which campaign the encounter should be associated with? I know that the drop-down exists within the "Manage Characters" modal, but it seems really odd to me that the information is surfaced here but if I want to change that I have to use a component that's hidden within another component. Furthermore, I know that the hidden component is there because I've been using this tool long before that "Campaign" section even showed up on the screen, whereas if I were a brand new user, like a member of the general public for which this tool was finally made available, I would have no indication whatsoever that the ability to change campaigns is hidden within the "Manage Characters" modal.
That's borderline not even a feature request, so how about this semi related one? Can we get the ability in the "Manage Characters" modal to just create the exact number of characters at the exact level that we want? By that I mean if I'm running a one-shot for 6 8th level characters, I right now have to first choose one of the "4 Level X Characters" options, manually change each of their levels to 8th, and then individually add two additional characters with the "Add Character" button and individually change their levels to 8th.
I'd love to be able to select characters from multiple campaigns. As a DM, I have the main campaign where all my players' characters are kept, and I have another campaign where I like to keep my NPCs. I'd like to be able to include characters from both in the same encounter.
Those are sidekicks from Dragon of Icespire Peak and its follow up adventures, which do not follow precisely the same rules as the sidekicks in Tasha’s. They also don’t automatically level up: they are just monster statblocks with different blocks for different levels. The closest one can come to making the Tasha’s sidekicks is homebrewing monster statblocks for them, and manually editing those stat blocks on level up. A sidekick creation system that would allow for level ups is on the list, but there’s a lot of stuff on the list. It could still be a while before it gets done.

Nope. Tasha’s made some changes and tweaks. It’s possible some of the sidekick classes are the same, but they aren’t all; I don’t remember the specifics now, but I know I compared them at some point. Plus the Dragon of IceSpire peak pre-generated options/statblocks don’t cover all the options for “races” of a sidekick. The sidekick statblocks you linked to all specify that the sidekick is humanoid. But Tasha’s rules state that a sidekick can be any creature with a statblock in the Monster Manual or other book, with a CR of 1/2 or less, although experts and casters must each have at least one language in their statblock that they can speak. So one of my players has a wolf warrior sidekick. DOIP’s sidekicks don’t allow for that.
I am very impressed with all of your efforts in every category: character sheet management, content, encounter builder, homebrew, etc. Having written my own character handling system for 3rd edition I know firsthand all the issues you can have and how long it can take. One of the biggest is that someone always wants more. :-) You are doing well. Keep up the great work. I greatly appreciate your products and hope to continue to use them for decades to come.
How about adding more flexibility to homebrew? What they have available is frustratingly limited. There's plenty of content sure, but it appears additional content from anything post PHB is just not there.
Haven't read through all 100 pages of interactions, so sorry if this is a repeat request. I'd like a dark mode for just the site in general. Too much light colors, and we're all creatures of the underdark or drow :D
Is there a way to add an invisible mode to the public/private setting, or have a separate section for NPCs in the campaign window that isn't viewable by the players? I want to use Beyond to build NPCs, but it's hard to maintain secrecy when any player can see the name, race, classes (and subclasses), and level of any npc I'm working on. I can't work on them independently because I rely on content sharing from one of my players. If there's already a way to already do this, please let me know.

Most popular request by far.... and for good reason. It boggles my mind that it's still not implemented. I for one would love to see it as well.
The ability to give a container full of items to a character would be grand.
As a player it would be great to say "Hey Garfunkel, you carry the bag of holding for a while!" and transfer it over (like if a player/PC has to take a sabbatical) rather than both players sitting down and going through the contents to make the recipient add each item one-by-one.
As a DM I'd love to prepare a sack full of loot ahead of time so that when the PCs steal it from the evil merchant I can just put it in their inventory in one fell swoop rather than search for each item mid-session and rename the spell scrolls, etc., or (gods forbid) try to get that one guy in the group to do it (you know that guy...the one who can never remember how to add items to his inventory and doesn't notice that there are different kinds of potions of healing...?).
Lot's of spells have variants that remove the spell creator's names from them. Bigby's Hand becomes Arcane Hand. Nystul's Magic Aura becomes Arcanist's Magic Aura. Not all of the named spells have variants though? Namely Otto's Irresistible Dance or Maximillian's Earthen Grasp? Seems like an oversight.

It is not an oversight, nor is it anything to do with this website.
Those spells have a “nameless variant” because those names (Bugby, Drawmij, Evard, Leomund, Otiluke, Tasha, Tenser, Leomund, Melf, Mordenkainen, Nystul, Rary, etc.) are all Trademarked names and the game’s publisher (WotC) wanted to include copies of them in the free rules available in the SRD. Some names (like Otto) were apparently not Trademarked and could be included in the SRD without needing to remove the name. Other spells that include a proper name in we’re not considered for inclusion in the SRD (Hadar) or were written after it’s release (Aganazzar, Maximilian) and so there was no need to publish a generic “nameless variant.”
Either way, this website doesn’t make any content, it just sells access to it. The company that makes those decisions is WotC.

Character creation for sidekicks please. It's been too long since the sidekicks rules came out.
Sidekicks are not like PCs. They are NPCs. You can already make them.

Have been searching but can't find an answer to my question - how do I get more character slots?
Hello there Awsum,
You have two choices here.
