I searched for a bit and couldn't find anyone else asking for this, or anywhere else to post. I don't use the forums often. 🤷🏻♀️
I would absolutely LOVE to see new printing/PDF options.
I have a half-letter-sized (Junior) disc-bound notebook I would like to be able to print my sheets for, but the current sheets aren't optimized to print at half-size. When I resize my browser on DDB, it will compartmentalize my character info and give me a menu of tabs to view information. I would love to be able to print out my sheets in a similar format (double-sided, ideally) so I can make my margin the appropriate size for punching disk holes. (Half-letter/A5 options would be lovely.)
I'm not the most well-versed in PDFs, so if anyone else has a good suggestion for a workaround, it would be appreciated.
Could the be a chance this site could have a combat grid and map grid like roll 20 or fantasy grounds. my players use dnd beyond for their sheets but i would like to have tokens for them to move around a map and to be able to let them see the maps and locations they're at when we play online. It would also make combat run smoothly as everyone can see where they are and what they would want to do with ease. just a thing i would like to see someday on this site. that would be great
I can't imagine that this hasn't been requested before, but I'll pitch anyway just in case.
Similar to how the character sheet allows you to hover over a tool or language proficiency to see where it was obtained (i.e., via the class, race, background, etc.), it would be really nice if the same functionality existed for skills. Currently, hovering over a skill where you have proficiency just indicates "proficiency" or "expertise". I often don't remember *why* my character has a particular proficiency/expertise; it would be nice to just see the source as a hover tool tip as the tools and languages currently do.
Main Priority:Would be a nice addition on the encounter trackerif when running it, each encounter has a separate roster of prepped inactive creatures that can be dragged into the active menu as needed, and likewise no longer needed creatures (dead/gone) could be dragged out of initiative into the inactive list. This would make the encounter feature so much more intuitive flexible, and allows the main purpose of getting all the prep work done rather then having to leave encounter mid-run to edit it.
Further improvement: Once this is done, maybe a third auto-generated inactive list specifically filled with player summons/familiar/pets/steeds, using whats already in the extra list on their character sheet.
Lower priority: In addition a separate column (more in the building stage/not actually important in running part, as simple tag would do) if you could designate some added creatures as player allies so the encounter cr calculator doesn't get screwed up.
All excellent suggestions. I don't know if you realized this, maybe you do and have already done this, but the encounter tracker is still in beta and has a feedback link on the blue "beta" bar (top). If you have already dropped these there, ignore me, but if not it would be great to have these added there as well. Your suggestions are far more likely to gain traction as beta testing feedback.
Honestly, I kind of wish they had a feedback link for every tool in DDB. That would be a lot more efficient than suggesting new and/or improved features in the forums. Hmm. I guess that's its own enhancement request..

I did not know the there was a link, thank you, I will do so.
Could we get the homebrewing modifier subtype lists expanded please? For example, I can make a homebrew Feat that gives the modifier type proficiency with the modifier subtype Choose a Musical Instrument or Artisan's Tools, but I can't choose the same modifier subtype for the modifier type twice proficiency.
I imagine this couldn't be a particularly difficult thing to change, but I'm not a coder.
In the case of why I'm asking for this in particular now, it could also be worked around if the Options I could add to a feat included more than only adding new Actions to the feat.
I'm sure these have been mentioned before but I want to add to the request pool with the following.
Die Roller on all pages ( I often find myself needing to make a roll but have to wither leave the page/app screen or open another app and use that roller.
Random Treasure generator that has all of your owned content. The DMG's random treasure tables were outdated the minute they put new items in another book. It would be nice to have an updated table that has all of the items in it. I wouldn't even mind one that just does a random item and isn't broken into the different tables like the DMG.
The ability to remove dead monsters from encounters and the initiative tracker.
The ability to customise the names of spells and items is very useful, especially for non-English speaking players. Would it be possible to extend this to other fields? For example to skills, there is a Customize button but you can't change the name.

You can add custom skills.
It's note quite the same though, because you have to scroll through the Skills list to get to the custom ones you add, past all of the english ones.

I too desire this. I submitted this as beta feedback; I encourage you to do the same. If enough of us provide this feedback they will likely add it. If you've not see it, there is a feedback link on the blue "beta" bar on the encounter builder page.

This is already possible; you can edit encounters that are being run, removing and/or adding creatures as needed
As a request, I would like something not to be added but perhaps something merely looked into, as I have been having trouble fully finding any sort of answer throughout the multifaceted malefactor that is the DnD Beyond Forums. I appear to be unable to add Replacement Subclass Features to my own homebrew subclasses, an issue which is not entirely a pressing matter but never the less would be satisfying to fix if possible.

True enough.
I guess it would be more accurate to request this be doable on the fly. As it is now you have to leave the encounter to edit it. I picture a simple checkbox; it might say, "Active" or something like that. I will submit a new beta feedback clarifying this.
Feature Request! Mostly because I'm playing a ranger who can attack twice with his primary weapon with advantage and I'm tired of having to reset it to roll with advantage everytime.
I only ran a quick search on this thread, but I didn't see anything indicating this has been requested previously:
Hotkeys for rolling to hit Advantage/Disadvantage
Ex. SHIFT+A+CLICK rolls 2d20 w/Advantage for the selected attack (EVERYONE); SHIFT+D+Click rolls 2d20 w/Disdvantage for the selected attack (EVERYONE)
EVERYONE should probably be the default, but hey maybe making a way to program their own hotkeys is the ultimate way to go.
ALTERNATIVE (and probably more intuitive)
Set rolling with Advantage/Disadvantage for a specific weapon as the default
Ex. Right Click 'To Hit' button > "Sent To:" and "Roll With:" menus popup > Right Click "Advantage" > NEW OPTION: "Set As Default" appears.
Selecting this sets the weapon to roll attack with Advantage by default.
NOTE: It would be nice if the green "A" for Advantage appeared next to the weapon name as a reminder.
Remove Default by right clicking 'To Hit' button > "Sent To:" and "Roll With:" menus popup > Right Click "Advantage" > Select "Remove Default"
How about the ability to make a shop? You can preload it with items and set prices, then link it to a campaign. Player can click on the item in the shop and it automatically adds it to their inventory sheet while taking the gold off their character.

Some kind of ability to make NPCs (character creator or a new npc generator for monsters) that can be loaded into the combat tracker as a DM controlled 'monster' . I know it has been on the books a while, but would be a great addition. I particularly would like a way in the character creator to separate NPCs from player characters and sort by campaign and other identifiers (location, group, etc).
In the encounter builder, I would like a way to switch off, but not remove, the completed encounters. I would also like a way for the encounter builder to auto update the manage characters section so that the current level, etc of the players is auto calculated based on current info
