I have the books, but not on dndbeyond, and I don't want to have to buy a pdf of content I already have. I know that you can make homebrew subclasses, but not regular classes. I'm trying to make an artificer, which is the one class that doesn't work without the book. Any ideas?
Edit: Okay, I've seen some of the answers and I think I know now what I can do. Kind of a bummer, though, I wish I could just be able to use the DDB Character Sheet for my class without needing to buy it. Oh, well.

Hi, somebody had the username "Kanon" so I had to put "Beyond" after it. Whoever had that username has made a powerful enemy. My Dandwiki account can be found at the link provided. I work on a big ol' campaign setting called Broadbarrel. You should check it out. Peace be with you, punk!
A little late to the thread perhaps, but may I suggest Dungeon Master's Vault as an alternative? Not quite as much versatility as DND beyond but also completely free with no paywalls and homebrewing is a breeze.

Looks like that site you recommend only provides the free content that is available in the SRD. This is the exact same material that is provided on dndbeyond for free. That site might prove to be more versatile with homebrew creation, but it does not look like it has access to any of the paid content that you are saying is behind a paywall without plagiarized homebrew content.

You can't homebrew base classes.
You can always buy just a single Artificer subclass from the book and it will unlock the base class for you - you can then homebrew for that class.

Yahtzee of 2's: Emmber (#36,161).
Lowest 9: JoeltheWalrus (#312), Emmber (#12,505) and Dertinus (#20,953).
Nope. But if you purchase a single subclass for the Artificer for $3 you get the whole base class to use with it.

I don't like the no class creation, but it makes sense that the devs don't want people to make loads of overpowered classes to use on DDB.
