In the campaign I am running, I have content sharing turned on. Is there any way to turn that on for rules but NOT adventures. I want my players to have access to all the rules I've purchased but not the adventures I'm running.
Within my account, I've purchased access to everything but I want to limit my players access to adventure content so as not to tempt them to read ahead. At the same time I don't want to turn off content sharing for everything.
Sincerest thanks for your help!

Table management options are planned for sure, but for now you'll have to either trust your players or turn off content sharing after all of the players have created their characters. If you do turn it off, you'll have to turn it back on every time they level up.
I know you are working on a lot of new options for us and it is appreciated. This one feels both pretty important and fairly simple to implement for those of us who have invested deeply in the platform. I hope we see it soon. Thanks for the help and answer, sincerely!

Yes please on this function. In these days of instant gratification and "cheating" with a Google search, having the adventure available to all players is just too much temptation for some.
I don't care about content sharing of adventures. I do care about sharing monsters though. I'd also like to be able to turn off sharing of certain feats, spells and items, primarily because I like to create them and then work on them over several days, but they still pop up as options for my players to choose even though they're unfinished. The way things are now, I have to essentially make sure it's polished and finished before I create it in DDB.

This!
I have wanted to make some items for my players in a campaign that are artifact items that are specially designed for each player but they show up in their items list when i create them in DDB so i have had to remove them and will have to recreate them all a day or two before they get them so they don't risk seeing them by accident. I cant tell them not to open them if they seem them either as it will completely give away any surprise when the get them. So i have to resort to building them else where until there is an option to hide them from my players.
The other workaround option, which I am considering, is having a second account (Free) and purchasing the DM stuff on that one.
I'd rather not have yet another account and password et al to worry about though.
I joined DNDBeyond last week and ran my first D&D adventure for about 5 years - we never used the PHB once that evening! This website may have been the inspiration for 'getting the band back together'. Thanks for that!
I guess it is like falling off a log, even if the rules of that particular log have changed!
I would like to add my vote to this. Being able to disable the adventures for a campaign would be really great. It also doesn't seem like doing selective sharing for content should be that hard from a programatic standpoint.
I am very interested in this too, especially if I, as the DM, can select which sourcebooks to share with my players. I am setting up a campaign for my two brothers, wife, and two nephews. I would like to share the various player resources with them (Player's Handbook, Sword Coast Guide, and Xanathar's) but not Monster Manual, DMG, and especially not the adventures. Ideally, we would have an interface for each campaign that has a list of all of the stuff you own and you can select what to share.
Yes another vote for selective content sharing. This is a very good idea and I'm surprised the ability to hide adventures from the players isn't already included.
Honestly, as I’m using Beyond more and more, I’m a bit put off from buying future adventures until this is in place. I’ve already run into the situation where it is hard for players to resist learning what is coming next. Such a simple fix to implement.

That's why I held off buying ToA when I first signed up and was grabbing content. We're a few months off from playing and I didn't want to dangle it in front of them.

Agreed with this sentiment. Would love this functionality.

Chiming in to ask for this feature to be fast tracked. Why is content sharing even enabled for adventures?
And I cast Heroism on the community.
I guess a good solution then would be to mark one guy as the DM so that he can turn it off for everyone else.
I agree with all of the above. Outstanding suggestions and feedback for Beyond.

Roleplaying since Runequest.

Me too. A simple flag not to share adventures would be absolutely great. It's a horrible temptation for the players.

Agreed. Not going to buy any more adventures until this is in place. Sharing rules is fantastic. Adventures? Why would you ever want to do that?
