I don’t think there’s been any sort of announcement about how wizards plans to run the site. There has, however, been rampant, baseless speculation, which is always fun.

Given WoTC's history I wouldn't call my rampant speculation baseless...lol.
Given Wizards of the Coast's history of shutting down forums, the DnDBeyond forums might also close. Monitoring official announcements will provide the most accurate updates on their status.

I dunno, it seems like they’re running it into the ground if you ask me.
If they do we'll just move to Reddit or Discord *shrug* Traditional message boards are a dying breed.
They say similar things about ham radio, but at any major disaster there are long lines at the volunteer radio tents with people happily waiting to get messages to loved ones when nothing else works. Message boards still have value.

I can say we have no plans to shut down the forums! Personally, I'm trying to figure out how to put a little more life in them.

Yay.
Also, if there's ever discussion about it, point out the PBP and LFG forums. Playing PBP campaigns on this site was a motivator for me to purchase the PHB and I'm guessing there's others out there too that have purchased material for use in games here on DDB that wouldn't have otherwise.

The PBP forums are my unofficial children, and I will protect them with all that I have.
I have a PBP game (more of a two-person story, but it was born out of a D&D game) that's been going for almost 20 years, and I will cape HARD for the ability to let others do the same.

This. Its why I'm here and pay for a subscription and bought the Legendary Bundle. PBP better never go away.

Coming from a huge defense contractor I can understand LaTiaJacquise position. She has more than likely been given very strict instructions on what where and when she can say anything about WOTC on these forums. Possibly under threat of being fired. Its just how big companies work. Her statement carry the weight of WOTC behind them. If she over steps her bounds and says she heard about a something something being changed or coming out WOTC might have to backtrack on that and big companies do not like doing that. It could effect share prices also.
So all of this about WOTC making more statements about something will never happen. What could they possibly say to make you happy? Nothing, they know they can not make everyone happy. So the best thing is to not make any comments and live with it. Even if it makes their fans unhappy/
I personally thank LaTiaJacquisefor coming here and telling us a few tidbits, but that is all i expect out of her. Tidbits of news and communication.
I never said they didn't, just observing a trend. Bioware shut down theirs, Gleemax is gone, Gearbox, Bethesda, the list goes on.
Fair, I may have read a little too much into your post, I do feel the better a forum is managed the longer they last. So many great forums have been ruined by the way they were managed not the users on them, and many of those that were ruined happened shortly after they were sold. It is great to here from LaTiaJacquise that there are no plans to shut this one down.

From past experience they seem to not see the value in community forums.
Is there any indication they will keep DnDBeyond forums open or follow their past pattern and shut them down?
Abide.

My bet is they’ll figure if it ain’t broke then there’s nothing to fix by shutting it down. But who really knows for sure?
