Nah, if it's going to come soon, then I doubt it'll come before MToF. My bet is that they're giving themselves a week after MToF drops to fix whatever issues crop up with it, and then announce the revamp during the dev update.
Then again, I don't think that'll happen either. I think it's probably a month away at least.

I'm calling it now it will be released during the Stream of Many Eyes, June 1st.
I'm surprised I was wrong on this. The initial reveal happened during the Stream of Annihilation. It seemed logical to reveal the new sheet again at SoME with everyone watching. We know it's coming this month, maybe Origins?
Honestly I was just hopping for some update. I don't see this months update at all. Usually they post some monthly update on their youtube channel. But yes I am hopeful for a June update. They just seem to be hammering WaterDeep right now.
The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
I've decided that if the revamp isn't rolled out within the next 6 hours and 40 minutes, that I will be flipping tables and putting my DDB account with its Legendary Bundle up for sale on eBay, and then never using this site ever again...
...at least until next Thursday night when I have to continue running our weekly session.

This is the one problem with the current implementation of online tools... No matter what we think about developer communication, or anything else about D&D Beyond, they're really the only option available. They have a complete monopoly on this particular product, so we all just have to accept it.
Personally, I think it's a pretty great service in general, but I have to admit to a certain frustration with their current communication policies. Their forum presence seems a little absent.

While I agree that their forum presence has seemed to be much lower lately (for the actual devs at least, not the moderators), they hardly have a "monopoly". There are several other online toolsets (Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, etc.). Do they have a better implementation? Sure (at least in my opinion). Are they backed as "the official 5e toolset"? Sure (at least according to the end of their most recent YouTube video, first time I'd heard them say that). But do they have a monopoly? Nope. Even if they have a large marketshare, there's still competition. WOTC didn't cut off licensing rights to the others when DDB released.

They respond to bug and conduct violation reports within 24 hours and stream a monthly, hour-long video where they answer questions and show their progress. They've also repeatedly demonstrated they understand what their user demographics look like and how the application is being used. What else do you want?
I think it's a reasonable assumption that all the developers are hard at work putting the finishing touches on or fixing the last bugs so they can actually release the character sheet revamp. It definitely seems like they are extremely close to releasing it, based on the progress they've been showing in the developer update videos.

Actual employee (DnDBeyond) presence in the forums would be nice. The mods are cool and all but there aren’t enough of them.
I would also love for the homebrew approval times to get more attention as I have been waiting for approval on more than a few of my items for 23 days as of today, this is insane. Especially when 3 of my items are nothing more than updates regarding the new race grouping feature. There needs to be a dedicated team for this job who are paid for their time. The mods have enough on their plate and they are working very hard for free. This needs attention

Well, maybe a definition of what "short term" means?
I know this is a serious cases of apples versus oranges here, but the ability to limit content sharing (apples) has been on the "short term roadmap" for going on 10 months. That, at least in my opinion, is really stretching the bounds of something that can be expected soon. I don't have a timeline for the character sheet revamp (oranges), but it has been defined as "close" for months now.
In that regard, communication can certainly improve.

Many of the staff team read the forums and reply themselves.
Could you quantify why you believe there aren't enough mods though?
Generally speaking we (the moderators) are competing with each other to answer queries on the forums and I rarely see anything go past a couple of hours unanswered, even at odd times of the day.
The homebrew queue is a totally separate issue that is unlikely to be resolved by just recruiting more moderators.
I have faith in this product, and honestly, I think some people would be mad if devs posted more than they currently do. Think, "Why are you posting here? Do your job!"

Don't keep your mouth shut! Clearly your speculation stirs the cosmos to provide evidence of forward movement. Speculate away!

Or do. I mean, I've been wrong plenty of times before.

My guess is we'll have it in time for this month's & Beyond

It used to be the 3rd Friday of the month. I know the day of the week changed, but I'm not sure if which week it falls on changed too.
All future updates were scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of each month. So I’m sure we will hear about the dev stream next week sometime.

I just want it to be out so my players feel like using the digital sheets instead of using it as a backup for their paper ones.
