I am relatively new to D&D Beyond, but I was wondering something about the content features. I have already purchased some of the physical books and was wondering if there was any way to redeem them for D&D Beyond content. If any of you know about this, please enlighten me. Adventure onward and thank you!
Wizards of the Coast does not own D&D Beyond, so the physical books they produce do not contain a code to redeem a digital copy on D&D Beyond. The exception being the new Essential's Kit, currently exclusive at Target.
As an alternative to purchasing the full books, you may also purchase individual races, subclasses, feats & magic items from the marketplace. Should you later wish to purchase the sourcebook that they came from, any such individual purchases are fully discounted from the price of the sourcebook.
You are also welcome to create your own content using the D&D Beyond homebrew tools.

Also, depending on how you want to use the site (primarily as a character generator, primarily for access to rules, etc.), you may not need to purchase entire "books" from the marketplace. A combination of homebrewing and purchasing individual items may do what you need, lower the cost. a number of scenarios and suggested purchase approaches are provided in the buyer's guide that is linked in my signature.

This gets asked a lot.
No, having the physical books does not mean you can get the D&D Beyond versions for free.
D&D Beyond is a different company than Wizards, which still has to pay a licensing fee for the books.
