Does that mean campaign manager improvements are even further out than that? I appreciate all of the work done to this point and the encounter builder coming, and personally can't wait for launch. However I (and many others) feel the campaign manager is pretty unfulfilling in its current state. I understand everything can't be done at once, but any idea how long (even in terms of "phases" like encounter builder > monster creation leveling > something else > campaign manager improvements rather than actual dates/timeframes) until we see improvements to it?

I have only scanned through this forum and did some cursory searching, so could have missed the answers, but I have a couple of questions:
1: is the quoted price on the subs based on month-to-month billing? is there a yearly buy option? if so, any discount?
2: Is there any way to sign up / buy books prior to launch? or do we need to wait until the 15th to do that.

Where can I read exactly what does and does not come with subscriptions and purchases of content?
More directly to my question, will we a) have to purchase the PH in order to continue to use the character generator? b) the DM Guide to use the campaign tools? Are there any tools remaining free? We're only using Beyond currently for tracking and leveling up characters. We aren't seeing much utility yet in running adventures, etc. here. Will we need to subscribe and buy content just to do what we've been doing?

I agree with Golaryn. I use a lot of tools to create maps, and get everything ready before we ever sit down at the table. Like the character generator here. We used it to help create the characters and then transfer to the paper character sheets. It makes things a lot smoother and easier.

I have a question. If you were to by the players handbook and get the subscription would our purchases be ported over to the d&d beyond app when it is released. I don't particularly like the idea of getting everything I need to play and dm through the website just to find out I need to buy it again for the app.

I know this question has already been addressed and asked in various places on this thread, but I feel that it is important enough to bring up again. I am on a fixed income, I love the pricing tiers, even as the DM I can afford that, however, I already have the core books, as well as some extra's. And I can't afford to buy them twice, even if the digital copies are less expensive. Is there anyway to allow people to scan in the bar code? or enter the ISBN number of books that they already have hard copies of? Or at a minimum a discount?

Maybe, new books willl come with a digital code similar to BluRay Discs. You buy the movie at the store and redeem a code for the digital version. I can get behind that.
If i do purchase something specific to one book, say Way of the Long Death subclass for the monk, would the book still be full priced later or would it be discounted since I had already purchased items contained within?
(very sorry if it is mentioned somewhere, i skimmed but didn't read every post)
