Screechirk ponders Samira's words. Secrecy. A bit of surprise, but not too much. A tale as sensational as an attack on the nobility could certainly caused disorder if run amock in the right atmosphere. "I'm inclined to accept. And discretion will surely be obliged." he says "Would you be able to say where Zenia lives so that we could make our way to her?"
Leif tips his hat on his way out the door and a salamander crawls down to his shoulder Leif speaks in salamander, “hungry little friend? I’ve got some treats for you…”
It looks like Samira is not telling all, but it also looks like she is not going to share those details anytime soon.
"You will find Zenia at the Thornapple, that is where she is being guarded," Samira explains. "It is an establishment that the Ruba's own. I will give you a map."
Samira then produces a map from her pocket and places it on the table. Then she gives clear instructions on how to reach Thornapple, pointing out the roads that are closed for the celebrations.
"I will also give you my token. This token will prove that you are representatives acting on my behalf. You will find be among on the River of Gold once you are finished."
She then pulls out a rose-shaped token that is only just slightly larger than a gold piece.

As the group heads through the market on the way to Thornapple, a stocky woman in green pantaloons and a yellow tunic irritably elbows her way past Shadow. Before anyone has a chance to respond, she has hurriedly disappeared into the crowd.

"You alright?" asks Screechirk of Shadow. "Was it just a brush or did she pickpocket you?" As he sees Leif start to chase after her he follows the gnome's lead and takes to the avoid to get a good look. "Milil aid my search." he prays.
Saving this here so it doesn't get messed up. (though please also check the campaign log; used this roll here since I was having troubles rolling from my character sheet [seemed to be an issue at the time for all my sheets in general] and while I didn't see any of my roll attempts pop up in the log I also don't want to have been accidentally "high-roll fishing" in case they show up on your guys' end.)
Edit: "takes to the avoid to get a good look" in the above should be "takes to the air to get a good look"

Leif tries to chase after the woman, but quickly realises they she is nowhere to be seen.
Screechirk looks around but doesn't see her either, but does hear the sounds of shrieks of fear rising from a herb vendor’s stall nearby. The crowd shifts as panicked people flee the scene.
Shadow finds out that nothing is missing.

Assuming the party is too far for audible, he first flies back to them, beating his wings in the air to maintain somewhat of a hover while using his bonus action to dramatically flourish his cape (Cloak of Billowing), and relays the news, "There's something up ahead. Looks like trouble."'

If there are any areas of darkness within 30 ft - Shadow steps into it and readies his Hand Crossbow.
If not - Shadow makes his way to the less traveled side of the thoroughfare and waits for the rush of people to subside before moving casually towards the disturbance.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Looking in the direction of the screams reveals a man coughing as he attacks a man on the ground. Shadow and Screechirk notice a dissipating pink lurking around the two fighting men.
However, the crowd continues to rush in the direction of Leif.
(Leif, make a DC14 Dex saving throw or suffer 4 bludgoning damage.)

Screechirk eyes the Salamander on Leif's shoulder. What an adorable lit pet. he thinks.
To Shadow and Leif he says, "So what do you think? Shall we got the Thornapple?"
