Hi all,

Trying to create a subclass of warlock with a level 1 feature granting a choice of either a Skill, Tool or Language. I've tried even just adding Skill or Tool because there doesn't appear to be an option to add a choice from all three. However, I can't seem to get these to appear on the character builder.

I can get the character builder to show 3 separate options:

• Skill
• Tool
• Language

with modifiers for each option set to choose each of those, but after selecting one of those options, it does not give me a choice of Skills, Tools or Languages to choose from and it doesn't "lock in". Am I missing a step or is this not achievable?

To confirm, I'm attempting to add a choice of one of the 3 proficiency types, not 1 of each type.

You seem to be doing it right so far, that’s how I do it for my homebrews. What Modifiers are you using?

Try re-saving the whole subclass, then wait 20 minutes, remove it from the character, refresh the page, then add it back again and see if that fixes it.

If I recall correctly, choices within options can cause issues. I will attempt to recreate this later today.

This should work. First, make sure the feature has the "Has Options" box checked.

Choose a Skill

 Choose a Tool

 Choose a Language

I think that should show each step well enough, but let me know if it doesn't.

Actually, I had 5 minutes before I had to leave for work and your tips worked. I had all of those steps done correctly, but I had been ticking "Is Granted?" which must have been expecting a locked value, not a selection.
