So I'm going to be running a campaign using the Mythic Odysseys of Theros and I have a player who would like to play as a diciple of Karametra. I know you cannot add piety abilities into the Character Sheet, so I was making them into Feats. The ablility reads "As a devotee of Karametra, you have proven yourself a worthy potential champion of the harvest god. As a bonus action, you can invoke her protection; spectral plants cover you, providing you with a +1 bonus to AC for 1 minute. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest." I am struggling to find a way to increase AC with an action in the creator.
There are two simple ways of dealing with temporary effects at the moment.
The first is to just click on the AC shield and put 1 in the misc bonuses - then remember to remove it when the ability fades. The second is to homebrew a magical wondrous item to give the effects. Call it the name of the ability - give it the necessary number of charges - make it an artifact so it sorts to the top of the equipment list - and then give it to the character. They can then equip the item when they use the ability and unequip it when it fades. I do this for most temporary effects like Mage Armor - Bladesinging - etc.. Just don't publish the item.

Thanks for the help!
Temporary effects like that are not supported at this time. It is a planned feature, but no ETA until is pretty ready for release.

I would actually make it a magic spell, not a magic item, because hey, that's what spells do. Design the spell then have the feat grant the spell.
How would you make a spell so the effect is applied to the AC on the character sheet? (Genuine question. I didn't think that was possible.)

It currently is not.
