(@MuggsHill: I proceed with resolving your turn and then the others'. Please post your second attack and the rest of your turn when you can. To answer your question, yes your first attack is enough to put down the damaged Sea Lion. It only had 3 HP left.)
Being the only member of the party to avoid the growing coral twice in a row, Bubbles swims forward to finish what he had started. The barbarian thrusts Last Rites through the back of the injured Sea Lion's head, causing its body to go limp immediately after. (Sea Lion #2 takes 22 magical piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Before Bubbles can turn his attention to the other enemy, other locathah get a chance to act...
Although Gulp feels validated in his own mind, the monk struggles to transform such a feeling into action, at least for now. The coral maintains its hold on Gulp, who will need at least a few more seconds to figure out how to free himself.
Also grabbed by the omnipresent coral, Shanty tries a different strategy. First, he summons his ethereal tentacle back into the fold {BI-17}, willing it to whip at the remaining Sea Lion at once. The tentacle does just that, although the strike is just a glancing blow. (Sea Lion #1 takes 1 cold damage.)
Then, switching musical instruments mid-battle, Shanty plays a purposefully horrid but enchanted note on his Pipes of Haunting. (OOC: I'll assume you are choosing to let your companions automatically succeed the saving throw as per the item's description.)
The menacing expression on the Sea Lion's face suddenly changes to one of terror. It whirls in place for the time being, seemingly looking for escape routes.
(@Ori: It does indeed take an action to try and free yourself from the coral. Please refer to post #236 above. Separately, I am enjoying the creativity with which you are approaching this 'escape the coral' business. I have added a DM Inspiration token in Undertow's sheet for you to use, though I'll say you cannot use it this same turn.)
Feeling his strength seep away but also noting that he is relatively isolated from danger at the moment, Undertow evokes a Healing Spirit to his side. Although it is more amorphous than last time, the spirit still resembles a small clown fish swimming about its master.
Then, using both the inspiration he got from Shanty and his own innate affinity towards all sea flora and fauna, Undertow tries to gently pry the coral away from himself in such a manner that he knows won't hurt the coral. Although he makes some progress, the task at hand proves to be more time-consuming than the underwater ranger had expected. He remains restrained for now.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A wry smile appears as he exclaims "Another to me!" and then waste no time using the momentum of the thrust to spin and drive Last Rites towards the other Sea Lion to get a quick strike in before pushing off the coral and thrusting straight down with all his strength behind the last attack.

Bubbles finally positions himself at an angle to deliver his next attacks perfectly. Twisting to aim at the other Sea Lion, the barbarian sinks his weapon into the foe's body, surely puncturing a couple of vital organs. The creature does not look like it will cling to life much longer. (Sea Lion #1 takes 66 magical piercing damage.)
The whipping claw attacks are repelled by Sandlot's spell and the coral, which protect Undertow and Riptide from getting additionally hurt. Bubbles is not as lucky. His defenses left wide open, the barbarian can't avoid the fangs aimed at his large torso. (Bubbles takes 7 piercing damage, already halved.)
(Sandlot and Barnacle are up next. Both are restrained.)
(@Lerus: Figured as much with the whole 0 speed ontop of that as well. Also, Undertow is due another d6, as he'd cast Healing at 3rd level. Which I'll just roll now for expedience: 2.)
Sandlot jerks forward in his bonds; the temptation to use the magical connection to teleport free nearly overriding self-preservation. Nearly, but not quite. But realizing all the same seeing the blood grow no less thicker in the water, the aged locathah bowed his head, muttered the words "Forgive me", before shifting if not letting go of the his holy symbol to better focus on summoning blue flames in the space of the Sea Lion.
Action: Cast (Cantrip)Sacred Flame on remaining Sea Lion, inflicting 14 Radiant damage on a failed Dex Save(DC 15).

Barnacle attempts to wrench himself free of the coral. He hasn't time for this, he needs to see to the other cat-fish, impose himself on this battle, protect the group!
(@Ori: Yep, i missed that second d6.Undertow recovers another 2 HP.)
In his first aggressive move since arriving in the Darkening, Sandlot produces a gout of holy flame within the last Sea Lion's vicinity. Unfortunately for the cleric, his hard decision does not pay off. The enemy swims away form danger, even if just by a foot.
Barnacle spends the next few seconds forcing his way out of the grasp of the coral. He succeeds and moves closer to the enemy {BJ-20}.
The strange magic filling the room forces the coral to growth once more, attempting to reach each non-constricted locathah and retrain them:
-> STR saving throw vs. a chamber-wide environmental effect similar to the Entangle spell {DC 18}:
Barnacle: 24
Bubbles (Rage):29
Barnacle and Bubbles avoid the sudden coral growth.
(Bubbles, Gulp, Shanty, and Undertow go next. Bubbles is the only one of this lot (including Riptide) who is not restrained. Unlike the Entangle spell, if you are caught by the LAIR effect, you can choose to use your action to make either an athletics or an acrobatics check {DC 18} to try to escape it. The spell would normally only allow this attempt with a STR check.)

Once again Bubbles just uses his pike and muscle to break any coral fingers reaching his way and once again looks to impale the remaining attacker, enthused to continue the wild attacking style and putting all of his strength into the first strike and then following up with a second strike

Everyone was having fun and Gulp was clearly missing out! He wiggled in his restrains with the doubled intensity: acrobatics check 27
Finally free, he had no wind in him to do anything, though. All he could do it to get closer to the lion-fish - if the corals were about to attack again, at least he will be close enough to retaliate.
Undertow grumbled over the lack of progress, and seemed just about ready to give up and start trying slip/yank himself free in frustration! He certainly has no qualms calling out to Riptide to do just that. But then after which.... he remembers the incident with the crab. Unfortunately, he wasted enough time that he didn't dare try figure out which section of the coral might by of Cynarina subspecies, if any at all, so would have to take the gamble.
That gamble requiring him to struggle to work his hands into place and pull out... a half-eaten shrimp! Which he tries to offer both it with a promise of giving more to the colony in exchange for releasing both himself and his fellow Locathah at least.
Bonus Action: Command Riptide to try and slip itself free - Acrobatics: 16.
Action: Food Bribery for 17. (Spending DM inspiration)

Mostly undisturbed by the coral, Bubbles strikes again at the second enemy. The initial attack puts the creature within an inch of its life but, to the barbarian's dismay, his follow-up pike-thrust glaces off the monstrosity's scales. (Sea Lion#1 takes 36 magical piercing and radiant damage.)
Gulp sees an opportunity to finish the monster, but only if he frees himself first. It takes a bit longer than he wished, but the monk manages to slip away from his coral jail and approach the Sea Lion {BJ-17}.
Shanty sees the same opportunity that Gulp spotted, and faces the same obstacle. Just like his companion, the bard slips away from the enclosing coral, but unlike the monk, Shanty does not need to get closer to finish off the foe. He orders the ethereal tentacle at his command to do the job on his behalf. The tentacle enters the monster's gills' flap on one side and exits from the other, freezing them completely in the process. (Sea Lion#1 takes 7 cold damage and is DEFEATED.)
Undertow watches this happen as his spiritual clown fish mends some more of his wounds. (Undertow recovers 5 HP.)
Feeling inspired by the success of his friends but still not wanting to hurt the coral, the ranger tires to bribe his captive with some food. The idea goes poorly, as the coral shows no interest in what Undertow had to offer. A few feet away, Riptide also struggles.
(Sandlot and Barnacle are up next. The Sea Lions are dead but the Lair Action is still active and the group is seemingly stuck in this room. Hence, we'll keep going in initiative order for now.)
And is just able to pull himself free enough to swim hopefully close enough towards the center of the room as to be out of immediate reach of the surrounding coral. But even if not, the aged Locathah is already focusing on looking around for any signs of Gar again. Though having seen him meld into the flooring, the effort is but a token one at best.
"Leave, we must... and swiftly, this one assures... hmm... Barnacle-..." He rasped looking to the warrior, then gesturing to Undertow. With a pop akin to a real bubble, the barrier dissolves in the motion. "Free him, if you would... Bubbles? Door maker, are you not? If so.... perhaps that way, good start, hm?" He adds, smiling softly after thumbing the general direction of the former entrance.
Movement: Pending.
(@Lerus: Not sure how far the coral stretched out, or high up the ceiling is from the floor. But if it looks possible to "maybe" get out of their range by swimming towards the midpoint between ceiling and floor. If not, he'll swim up only 5ft.)
(@Ori: As mentioned earlier, the magical effect on the coral is chamber-wide. )
By Eldath's grace, Sandlot is able to free himself from the coral's grasp, at least for now. Not wasting any time, the cleric asks Barnacle to help free a certainly frustrated Undertow, after dropping his protective spell. The fighter does just that, and easily breaks off the pieces of coral holding on to the ranger.
Sandlot also bids Bubbles to make his way to the blocked entrance and reopen it. The cleric then swims upward several feet, hoping this will put him outside the range of the magically imbued coral.
For the next few seconds, the entire party apart from Riptide gladly finds itself able to move freely.
