(OOC: I am still looking for some clarification regarding @MuggsHill's post, so, for now, I'll resolve the other posts.)
Having to rely mostly on his hearing sense, Gulp begins to move toward the noises of battle. Soon enough, he spots Sandlot in the range of his Driftglobe and catches up to the cleric. Moving a bit past him {AM-35}, Gulp lets his source of Light reveal others around him. He sees Undertow to his southwest, surrounded by undead and Gar himself. He sees Barnacle just west of him, rushing to join the scrap. He sees Shaolar to his southeast, holding a large bowl that is quite artistic in its design. The water inside the bowl swirls faster than the mostly calm waters all around the battlefield.
Seeing that Gulp has rejoined the fight, Shanty moves a bit closer to him {AJ-26} and tries to catch the two proverbial crabs with the same cage. Playing a new note on his underwater shawm, the bard casts polymorph on the monk both as a means of circumventing his cumulative injuries and bringing forth a new threat to Gar. Gulp's body expands rapidly and assumes the form of a massive Sperm Whale located at {AM-34} through {AP-37}.
LEGENDARY ACTION
Gar's eye widen in a mix of surprise and worry. He quickly swims away southward {AW-36}, as this is as far as he can get due to temporarily reduced speed.
(OOC: He does not trigger opportunity attacks with this movement.)
Gar swam away a bit too quicly for Undertow to take a stab at him, but there is no shortage of enemies around. Trying to reduce their numbers, the ranger finishes off the most injured undead sailor surrounding him and then stabs another nearby foe with Shoreseeker. (Undead Sailor #10 takes 13 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED; Undead Sailor #15 takes 12 magical piercing damage.)
(Bubbles' turn is still up as I cannot resolve it as originally posted. With Instinctive Pounce, he can move up to 60 feet this turn as he re-enters Rage. Thanks for the reminder about Rage, by the way. However, 60 feet of movement is still not enough to reach Shaolar, who is 75 feet away from the barbarian. In fact, Bubbles cannot even see where Shaolar is because he is farther than his Darkvision reaches. To complicate things, the indicated square, {AQ-29} is nowhere near where Shaolar is. It would also have been too far from Gar to attack him, even with reach. Gar is even farther away now since he used a legendary action to move. So, I'm a bit confused. @MuggsHill, can I kindly ask for you to clarify your post?)
Having felt his rage subside during the last round where he was escaping (no damage taken, no damage done), Bubbles takes a second to refocus on his targets and summon his deep primal instinct for battle once more (Rage), and using this to sprint forward (normal movement - will use Instinctive Pounce if distance an issue) to drive forward to get within range of the undead sailor at AQ33 to attack Shaolar (move to AQ29 (move to AP34 using Instinctive Pounce, extra 20ft movement, taking a wide arc around the other sailors to avoid provoking an opportunity attack but close within range, I reckon it would take all of the 60ft to get there), using the momentum to strike hard (GWM, Reckless Attack, Rage, Bless).
On the presumption that those two hits will take out target, Bubbles follows through the final attack with another (using Reach to attack) aimed at the sailor occupying AQ32
(@MuggsHill: I am placing Bubbles at {AO-33} instead of {AP-34}, because he latter is now occupied by a sperm whale. With reach, he can still attack the two specified sailors and avoid opportunity attacks.)
Being able to see better than ever before,Bubbles swims in an arc and strikes one of the undead sailors from a distance of 10 feet. Last Rites claims one more victim before it damages yet another nearby sailor. (Undead Sailor #14 takes 54 magical piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED; Undead Sailor #13 takes 26 magical piercing damage.)
Gar's attention is fully focused on the gigantic Sperm Whale that has appeared not too far from him. He looks at it carefully, points his claw at it, and says: "Now, now... won't you help me protect this lair I built?"
Gulp's transformed self resists Gar's attempt to Dominate Beast.
(Sandlot is up next. I'll ask Barnacle to hold on for now. Note that the Driftglobe has been absorbed into the Polymorph beast, so that source of light is unavailable at the moment. That means that Sandlot cannot see past 10 feet from him. He can also spot other sources of light in the distance, that is, Bubbles and Amble.)
Practically blind, but having heard Gar's unholy call again to the undead, Sandlot carefully floats closer to where he'd last seen the miscreant at least by a few feet, before presenting his holy symbol high above him. "Lost Souls.... Lost in the Dark.... Hear me now.... Flee now... or... in the name of Lady Eldath.... EMBRACE PEACE!!" He shouts as the light that had been steadily building with every rasped word is finally released in one great pulse from the music box in hand, and passing through all, but lingering as a compulsion in the undead to flee.
Movement: To AP-35.
Action: Channel Divinity - Turn Undead to all undead within 30ft of Sandlot (effecting all that can see or hear Sandlot). Wis Save(DC 15) or be Turned(down for what!).

(@Ori: The sperm whale is also occupying {AP-35}, so I'll place Sandlot at {AN-33} to achieve an approximately similar effect with Turn Undead.)
Relying on his memory, Sandlot advances carefully toward the cluster of undead sailors and, once again, commands them to turn away from the fight. As the momentary holy light of Eldath fills the space, the cleric feels that he has successfully expelled two of the four undead sailors around him.

As if being surrounded by undead wasn't enough, Undertow feels a malignant sea current approaching him from the southeast direction. The beast master's whiskers flow rapidly in one direction as the malignant current comes for him but, for all intent and purposes, the current is almost perfectly invisible. As if it had a life of its own, the sea current slams on the ranger repeatedly:
Undertow feels his insides churn with each blow. (Undertow takes 25 bludgeoning damage.)
(Barnacle is up next. He can't see much at the moment apart from Bubbles and Amble, but he recalls that the undead enemies are generally southeast of him. If approaching them and attacking in the dark, please roll with disadvantage. Amble had also called him earlier.)
Coming to terms with the tremendous disadvantage that darkness brings, Barnacle heeds Amble's request and approaches the lightly-illuminated tortle. The fighter does so cautiously, partly because he can't see all that well and partly because the enemies may decide to take advantage of his handicap.

Shaolar does not want to be that close to the large whale that manifested itself nearby. Having a exceptional understanding of most things arcane, the genasi re-positions himself a bit {AU-35} and launches approximately diagonal Lightning Bolt at Undertow. The bolt travels far, also hitting one of the turned undead sailors and continuing on a striaght trajectory toward Shanty and beyond.
The light produced by the streak of lightning contrasts starkly with the general darkness of the environment, giving Undertow all the warning they need to dodge the bolt in a fraction of a second. Nonetheless, he still fells some of the sting. (Undertow takes 17 lightning damage.)
The lightning bolt just misses the undead sailor's core. (Undead Sailor #12 takes 17 lightning damage and is no longer turned.)
Before the bolt reaches Shanty, Barnacle wishes really hard that he was able to take that damage in place of his companion. Sandlot's Protective Bond makes it possible, and the fighter is suddenly teleported to a position that allows him to absorb the entirety of the remainder of the bolt of lightning. (Barnacle takes 35 lightning damage; reference.)
Unfortunately for the bard of the group, the residual shock he suffers is just enough to cause his concentration to waver. The Sperm Whale begins to shrink in size until Gulp reappears in its place {AM-35}. (OOC: This also means that the the Driftglobe is back in play.)
Happy with how effective the spell may be, Shaolar then moves a bit further south {AW-35}.
Using his enchanted shield and dodging abilities to a nearly perfect extent, Undertow avoids all but one of the rusted longsword attacks. The resulting wound feels strangely warm, but the ranger fails to register any additional effects at this moment. (Undertow takes 10 slashing damage.)
The fourth undead sailor, still turned away by Sandlot's magic, moves as fast as it can toward the south. Despite his injuries, Undertow may choose to perform an opportunity attack against the fleeing sailor. (OOC: The fleeing undead has been damaged before.)
09. Undead Sailor (x3) - two others are turned and effectively out of combat for now;
MAP:
NOTES: I assume that the Driftglobe is shedding Light from where Gulp is. Same applies to Bubbles' Candle of the Deep. The light blue musical note token represents Shanty's Tentacle of the Deeps.
Once again, a sheet of coral embraces both Gar and Shaolar and the two beings vanish from sight. It is safe to assume that both of them have almost immediately reappeared somewhere else, as they have in the past.
No one can currently see where the enemy duo has reappeared, regardless of light sources or darkvision, be it via invocation, spell, or magic item.
(Bubbles, Gulp, Shanty and Undertow are up next. The only enemies they can see are the three undead sailors surrounding Undertow, who, in turn, is the only one who knows that there is an invisible patch of Malignant Sea Current near him somewhere.)
Bubbles growls in frustration as his ultimate quarry escapes once again, and he roars "Find Gar.....leave these sailors to me!". With that said, he stays at maximum reach to enable him to swing Last Rites with more freedom and attacks the nearest sailor that is yet to take damage and is not shambling off away from the fray.

Everything was happening too fast! Gul's brain could barely keep up with the sudden changes and by now he was questioning if being a whale was something that happened for real or just a hallucination. He shook his head and looked around searching for enemies. Finding at least some of them - those undead - and having no means to find anyone else, Gulp swam to where the action was.
Move: swimming to AQ31, dropping the Driftglobe on the way (say, at AN31)
Drunken Technique to stay away from whatever is still alive. (Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefit of the Disengage action, and your walking speed increases by 10 ft. until the end of the current turn.)
In case AQ31 is already killed by Bubbles, I believe Gulp has enough movement to reach other undead and he will attack the one still moving.
