creatures that are size larger are normally able to carry more that's more what im confused about. the dnd beyond centaur is considered large for carrying stuff.
do you know how I can make my race carry weight huge? the dm kept the Equine Build feat while also making the creature large. so my base carry weight is that of a huge creature
so I found how to add my carry weight and to set it as 'huge' but it doesn't work. it seems that it only set it to large carry weight even though I click huge. I tried to set the homebrew to gargantuan, yet it doesn't do anything. im trying to make a centaur barbarian for the campaign. my dms homebrew has the creature as large instead of medium. he kept equine build feat making my carry weight that of a huge creature. im lvl 6 and went totem bear. we did the math my carry weight should be 60*19=1140. with the bear totem feat I double my carry weight. making it 2280 pounds, my push/drag/lift is 4560 pounds. yet my sheet when I double check it. says 1140 carry and 2280 lift/drag/push. it appears there is a bug in the ddb website that does not set anything for the weight of huge or gargantuan in homebrew
my dm made a creature race (centaur) and its size is large. I use ddb and I don't know exactly how to make a pc large
I believe it's handled in the description under the Size subheading.
For example, for elves it says:
Size
Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

There are no large pc races, larger than average races are still medium but have the 'powerful build' trait (for example goliaths)
Edit: there is also a size drop down when making a race, it's to the right of name and version.

In basic information for a race, size is the 3rd field. Right after name and version number...
So you don't need the powerful build trait. Just remember that you take up 10×10 feet instead of 5×5.
its more for carrying stuff and all that

Large and increased carry weight? Overkill, but not my problem.
There is a carrying capacity modifier. You can set your size in that. If huge doesn't work try large. If that doesn't work, just live with it.
I tried, ddb has a bug where huge carry weight and gargantuan carry weight don't work
Pretty sure there is a ×2 carry weight modifier somewhere (that the totem barbarian uses). It might be dev only.
