Tehonican seems slightly confused, as do Egrien and Reirlin. I have not heard of this Saevaran. He must be unique to your world. In most worlds, there are three dominant draconic deities: Tiamat, Bahamut, and Sardior. In our world, Tiamat is a dragon who was corrupted by Hahtie after the Creation Wars. She quickly rose to deitihood, and became as she is in most other worlds: the Demon Queen of the Chromatic Dragons. She continued her path and rain of destruction until Stargazer, the first god, Creator, and the ultimate god of the Dragons, sealed her in the Void with the other war criminals from the Creation War. While some of the Chromatics have turned away from her teachings, most haven't, and continue to attack the peaceful humanoid races in order to gather wealth in a vain attempt to bring Tiamat back from the Void.
I haven't heard of that before. Are you sure it isn't just something in your world? I know that Saevaran is unique to Borrelia, but I've been to more than four different worlds, and I don't think Tiamat was a god in any of them. Besides, how could she rule over chromatic dragons, when no dragon is a specific color until they become a wyrmling?
That must be unique to your world, or at least very uncommon. In all the worlds that we have been, dragons hatch with a set color, which is based on their parents, and Tiamat is has always been a god. In the world of Toril, one of our favorite worlds to journey to, she was a god before the other gods were born; a god of the first age. She is ancient, and resides on the first layer of the Nine Hells in most worlds.
Maybe it's like that on more than one world. But your experiences aren't everything. Just because you've seen one or two places like that doesn't mean they all are. And a dragon's color being based on their parent is very strange.
We've been to far more than just one or two worlds with those circumstances on them. Toril is just our favorite world to journey to. Also, in our world, there are several species of true dragons that don't fall into chromatic, metallic, or even gem. How do you explain the gem dragons, which are rarer and don't follow the traditional tenets of either the metallics or chromatics, let alone the unique species some worlds have that don't fit into any of the three traditional types of True Dragons?
I'm sure that there are other kinds of dragons that don't have the same life cycle as us. Drakes and wyverns were created during the Dragon Wars to help fight back the giants. But they're not true dragons, though I accept them as kin. Gem dragons, though, I've never heard of.
Interesting. Your world and ours have very different histories then, Egrien interjects telepathically. The drakes were created as a result of the Creation War, when the blood of fallen dragons mixed with the essence of fallen elementals and the blood of fiends. Wyverns.... No one's entirely sure where they came from. They just showed up in the middle of the Creation War, and started attacking anything and anyone indiscriminately.
The only wars that truly changed Borrelia were the Demon War and the Dragon Wars. The others might have caused the founding and destruction of nations, but they didn't herald the passing of an age.
Tehonican continues now. The Creation War was one war that truly changed our world.
*Goes on the long history of that. Refer to the Word doc if need be, lol. Not typing ALL of that, lol*
Interesting. Our gods never fought each other directly. They fought through their creations, instead. The dragons against the giants, not Saevaran against Brogon. The goblinoids against the faceless, not Variash against Dakri. If the gods themselves battled, it would destroy the world.
Indeed, you would think that. There have been wars between deities on other worlds, but the worlds are rarely harmed to any lasting effect. Our world was an exception to that world, and that is because of the sheer numbers of powerful creatures involved in the war. There's no way it wouldn't leave lasting scars upon the world.
The gods made up the world itself. I don't think a fight between the earth and the sky would have no consequences.
In your world, perhaps. In our world, the Gods control, or are in charge of, various aspects of the world. They do not make up the world.
The gods could take mortal forms, and when they faded, the world wasn't destroyed. But everything they controlled was a part of them.
Hmmmm..... You can tell Tehonican is pondering what you have said. I sense that we could continue this debate for a long time, but neither of us will fully understand the other without traveling to the others world.
Egrien and Reirlin are nodding at this. "What do you say?" Egrien asks. "Up for a multiverse tour?"
"If not," Reirlin starts, "We can journey back to our world, and give you a way to contact us if you ever change your mind. After all, we should probably head back soon anyways. I need to tend to my order, and Egrien has students to teach."
"A way to contact you, or travel back here, since we're not exactly sure how we got here in the first place, would be helpful as well." Egrien says.
"I would love to see your world. But I have some obligations here, first."
Reirlin nods. "Of course, we understand that. We should head home of course ourselves though."
Egrien reaches into his robes, and pulls forth a scroll. "The spell on this is special. It will allow you to communicate with us across realms, even across the multiverse itself. In addition, it isn't a one-use scroll like most. Instead, you can use as many times as you wish." Egrien reaches across the table, and offers it to Mithris. "Perhaps you can use it to even find a way to visit us on your own someday."
"Thank you. I don't have any grand items or magic trinkets to give in return, but you can have this." She holds out a small bronze orb divided into 16 sections. "Try to see if you can solve it."

"I don't have much to offer you aside from my friendship, Mithris, but I have a feeling that that is enough," Reirlin says. "Until we meet again." Reirlin lifts his mug in salutation, and Egrien follows suit. They finish off the last of the ale in their mugs, and then stand up.

"Perhaps you can use it to even find a way to visit us on your own someday."
"Thank you. I don't have any grand items or magic trinkets to give in return, but you can have this." She holds out a small bronze orb divided into 16 sections. "Try to see if you can solve it."
Egrien's eyes light up, almost like you'd expect a child's to. "Thank you Mithris," he says, taking the orb from her. "I'll endeavor to have this solved by the time we meet next." He smiles widely as he slips it into one of the many pockets lining his robes.
"I don't have much to offer you aside from my friendship, Mithris, but I have a feeling that that is enough," Reirlin says. "Until we meet again." Reirlin lifts his mug in salutation, and Egrien follows suit. They finish off the last of the ale in their mugs, and then stand up.
"It has been a pleasure Mithris, but our time here at the Tavern is at an end, at least for now. We may end up returning at some point in the future, and, to that end, do you know who might know of a way we can easily return here? We kind of got here by divine interference, and so don't know how to return."
Mithris hands them each a sort of ceramic item with strange symbols on it.
*Ask Chris for more information.*
"If you crush one of these, it will teleport you here."
"Perfect." Egrien says. He looks over to Reirlin. "We have some farewells to say, and then we need to leave. If you come to our world, look for us in Kerrodale. It's a large port city on the shores of an inland sea by the same name." With that, they walk away. Tehonican looks back towards Mithris. Until we meet again. I look forward to you visiting our world.
And I yours. Farewell.

A powerful voice, familiar to at least a few in the tavern now, rings out. "It has been a pleasure visiting here, and getting to know everyone, and we truly enjoyed our time here, but it's time for us to go home" Reirlin says. "So long, and we will return again someday." With that, he and his brother, Egrien walk out the door.
Once outside, they stop for a tearful goodbye with Soldaer and Shade before Egrien launches into a ritual in celestial, drawing a series of runes in the air in a semicircle. A few moments later, a portal appears, and with a final look back at the tavern, they walk through it. The portal closes soon after.
*Alright, been wanting to intro a new character, so here we go!*
In the distance, a powerful storm appears out of nowhere. Hurricane-force winds beat the trees, and multiple bolts of lightning strike the ground. Suddenly, a huge winged shape appears in the midst of the storm, almost appearing to be physically battling it. Eventually, the storm subsides, almost as though the shape willed it to stop. The shape closes quickly on the tavern, slowing down and gliding as it gets within about 500 ft of the tavern.
At this point, it is obvious that it is a dragon, although it is different from any dragon anyone has seen before. It has polished black scales with silver highlights along the spine, eyebrows, shoulders, and the edges of the "arms" that its wings are on. Instead of the usual forward-pointing horns most black dragons have, it's horns point backwards, and are curled halfway along their length, doing a complete circle that leads to a slightly-upward pointing tip. It's head is more akin to the shape of a Green or Topaz Dragon's, and a row of curved, almost needlelike spines, run from the top of its head to about a third of the way down its tail. On the end of its tail, where the tip should be, is instead a blade that seems to be made out of the dragon's own bone. It's eyes are a deep green color, almost like a pine tree's needles when viewed at twilight.
*I'll leave ya'll with that to do what you will, because I need to get to bed. Have a neutral good night everyone!*
*BYE!!!*

*Morning everyone, hope everyone is having a good morning so far*
Allison was outside. She was wearing a white tank-top, black leggings, and thin birch sandals. She wore her hair down with a laurel of silver leaves as a hair decoration of sorts. She was tending to her garden happily while reading out loud to herself. The book in her hands had the title "Reverse mirrors of Avalon". She seemed rather content today but far into the wood, a certain devil watched her, keeping an eye on her, until krathian payed his dues.
Adder was asleep upstairs.
Lawrence might bring in a special character they had for awhile

*gotta love how there's this paragraph for a character, in detail about where she is, what she's wearing, what she's doing, & something that's going on. and then "Adder was asleep upstairs.", just wow. (plz take this lightly I'm just playin' with ya.)*
Arrow was perched on the roof of the tavern but heard noise, and decided to perch on tree that was closer to Allison & lower than the roof. *This wasn't supposed to be stealthy btw*

Young Tevelin is preparing for a BATTLE OF THE BARDS with Wolfe, but for now she's going on a peaceful morning fly over the forest.
Caramel is sleeping quietly, and a haze of death is released by her every time she breathes out. She has set up a small repurposed "Wet Floor" sign saying "Please dont disturb necrotic cat" next to her.
Gamer_Thirteen wants to make a new character but has no ideas except a D&D version of Niko from OneShot.
