A friend's character is a fallen aasimar. And we ended up getting into a joke where people keep thinking he's just an emo elf. And if he insists that "No, I am a FALLEN AASIMAR!" they just nod their heads like, "Sure sure. This definitely who you are and not just a phase."
Kinda want to try friendly trolling him by replacing the token for his character (currently just a generic one) with a depiction of an emo elf.

Hello, Arronlion. I'm doing alright. Had a decent day. Got to daily Mass just in time. Made a nice breakfast afterwards. Doing more job applications. And decent evening.
The way it's there is based off of "plot points" which are essentially kind of like inspiration, except that with Gods Be Crazy you spend it to become the DM.
Oh! doy, I did know that actually lol. I didn't put it together lol. That makes more sense. So y'all playing a campaign with that style? I have wanted to do that, but I in a real life sitting, I have never had any other folks who want to or know how to DM, I am the only one (sniffs, lonely).

First tomb, still. It’s quite fun though, playing as a necromancer wizard Eladrin, the heir to an enormous fortune which neither he nor his sister (also in the party, a phantom rogue) can’t access until they become legally adult as elves, which is at 100. They’re both like, 35 or something.
I think any of the Shadar-Kai could work as Emo elf art.
i love Aasimar, although… I don’t think I’ve ever played an actual Aasimar. I’ve used their stats, but of my two Aasimar characters, one was a guardian Angel thing called a Vigil, and the other, named Missy, is a body snatching soul eating aberrant monster that possesses someone every time they die.

My group doesn't go quite to the extremes of God Be Crazy. More we swap off now and then. So during the last summer one guy ran a leg of the campaign where hobgoblins invaded this elven realm. Now another guy is running adventure where we're going to one of the lands he's in charge of and we're dealing with chaos god stuff and bullywugs. And then after that, my plan would be to take them over to an area I'm in charge of where they'd investigate some going ons. (Basic idea: BBEG is researching a WMD and that's bad for the political balance.)

We have the same characters. Though the current DM will either have someone else run their character or give a reason for them to go off. (Last time my Aarakocra ranger had to go home on a very important mission... keeping his adoptive human parents from showing embarrassing pictures of him from when he was younger to the relatives.)

Curious if any of you know of art of emo elves.
A friend's character is a fallen aasimar. And we ended up getting into a joke where people keep thinking he's just an emo elf. And if he insists that "No, I am a FALLEN AASIMAR!" they just nod their heads like, "Sure sure. This definitely who you are and not just a phase."
Kinda want to try friendly trolling him by replacing the token for his character (currently just a generic one) with a depiction of an emo elf.

The way it's there is based off of "plot points" which are essentially kind of like inspiration, except that with Gods Be Crazy you spend it to become the DM.

First tomb, still. It’s quite fun though, playing as a necromancer wizard Eladrin, the heir to an enormous fortune which neither he nor his sister (also in the party, a phantom rogue) can’t access until they become legally adult as elves, which is at 100. They’re both like, 35 or something.
I think any of the Shadar-Kai could work as Emo elf art.
i love Aasimar, although… I don’t think I’ve ever played an actual Aasimar. I’ve used their stats, but of my two Aasimar characters, one was a guardian Angel thing called a Vigil, and the other, named Missy, is a body snatching soul eating aberrant monster that possesses someone every time they die.
My group doesn't go quite to the extremes of God Be Crazy. More we swap off now and then. So during the last summer one guy ran a leg of the campaign where hobgoblins invaded this elven realm. Now another guy is running adventure where we're going to one of the lands he's in charge of and we're dealing with chaos god stuff and bullywugs. And then after that, my plan would be to take them over to an area I'm in charge of where they'd investigate some going ons. (Basic idea: BBEG is researching a WMD and that's bad for the political balance.)
