Context: Today is the feast day of St. Blaise (and St. Ansgar). He's a patron saint against diseases of the throats and it's a custom to do a blessing of the throats. For that blessing the priest/deacon holds two candles crossed over each other to a person's throat and says, "Through the intercession of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and from every other illness. Amen."
Every since I saw the meme above I can't help but think of it during the blessing.

Do you know how he was martyred? And why was he given the domain of throat diseases specifically?

There can be some fairly specific patronages. IIRC St. Thomas Aquinas is patron saint of pencil makers, in addition to other things.

He was martyred by being beheaded, executed by a Roman Governor. (He lived in modern Armenia in the 300s.)
For the patron on throat diseases, a woman whose son had a fish bone lodged in his throat and he was able to help the child.
Y'all remember when DDB didn't ask for a (gp) ton of private info for something as simple as a free digital adventure (half of if not almost/all of which isn't even needed since it's digital, like why the heck do you need my shipping address for something online?). New marketplace kinda sucks.

Great idea, give the CR 2 disengage as a bonus and then multiattack. What could go wrong?
On the saber-toothed seems they upped the AC by 1 and doubled the damage output. Using the 5.0 DMG it went from
