Though as a question of my own. Got a D&D sess tomorrow. Looks like one of the guys is fully ghosted (and the last couple times he said he'd be at a session he'd send a message 10 minutes after it started saying, "actually not gonna be there, lol") so we're swapping out his character and bringing back mine, Bel (sig), as a DM-char. Trying to think of some of the ways in so wondering if any of you have creative ideas on how to do the swap.
Currently thinking to start the sess with the no-show's character, put him into magical unconsciousness and then they can find Bel fighting some enemies. I'm planning to open the sess with a fight with The Mistress sending an attack on the town they're in. So could use that as set-pieces for why they have to go to a couple parts of town.
