i really like the path of the wild soul of the barbarian but the magic reserves ability deals so much damage to the barbarian himself that it doesn't seem very useable. maybe lessen the damage and/or the temperary health maybe

This thread is for suggesting new features for D&D Beyond itself.
Hi, I would like it if you guys could add a new category for the homebrew called other. Because I had recently came up with an idea for a homebrew and it doesn't fall into any of the categories.
BTW the homebrew that I had came up with was a status effect.

There's a lot of pages to sift through so I apologize if I'm doubletapping but co-dming would be something I would be very much interested in seeing. Full access and functionality for at least 2 accounts.
I dont know where to put this but the Elemental Evil Player's Companion does not appear on my sources list even though I find the spells appearing in the character creator spell lists.

As in, in the compendium content? Yeah. It's not currently on the site as compendium content for some reason. I think it would be nice to have it as compendium content, if at least because it's a relatively minor task to add (compared to, say, a new book, or new features), and to gather all content from the EEPC in one place (and link to/tooltip all of it from there).
Campaign Tool and Encounter Enhancement Recommendations:
DM Notes need additional folders to organize campaign information. Having one box offers very little except to write down a few notes. Multiple folders with subfolders or subsections would allow us to be able to categorize different locations, areas, events, situations, etc. Integrating the encounter module into the campaign tool where you can also add NPCs, a text box for dialogue, pictures, maps, and integrating content from source books would make it a tool truly worth using. At the very least, the campaign page should have a list of the encounters created for the campaign.
Player Quick View - The DNDBeyond character sheet is amazing, but for the DM, it is very inconvenient to have to open the entire sheet to get quick information. A player quick view allows DMs to have access to: AC, HP, Spell slots, etc. What is great about DND beyond, you can access information simply by hovering your mouse over a word. This would be amazing for the player info as well.
Encounter Module: Player stats need to be pulled over into the encounter, otherwise it doesn't really help. This is especially true since it is quick to build a random encounter, but have no HP. The encounter module would also benefit with having AC and skill modifiers for quick view during the encounter.
Purchased Modules - Purchased modules should include a folder in the encounters tool with all of the encounters pre-built. This would save time and allow DMs to modify it as needed.
I was looking for a Myconid race once I had one join my party in Out of the Abyss. Going through the homebrew section made it difficult to find the best one. I have an idea:
Allow for sorting by date. I'm sure people are creating more homebrew races once they realize others aren't as good. Sorting by newest to oldest could be a good way of finding the best ones.

Thank you!
This one is already planned for when the encounter builder is complete/properly released.

Probably has been mentioned here but subclass specific math would be great. I use a plugin to add Disciple of Life to my healing, but it would be great to see that as an itemized line item like how AC shows the breakdown of what is contributing to it. Missed out of those heals for many sessions because I assumed it was included and was a brand new player.
Please group the Wildemount languages into their own sub group in the languages players can use during character creation. It adds confusion to a Faerun game when new players see Zemnian and others. It also has its own naming convention... ie, not names after the race of people who speak it (halfling)... and with so many other questions one fields during play creation, going through every word in the languages drop down asking "what is this? do I need to speak this? and this one? what about this one? ohh whats Zemnian? Sounds saucy!"
I'd also add that unchecking Critical Role content right at the start is now a misnomer as the languages invented by crit role still exist because Wildemount is D&D official... so that toggle needs a better definition.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Rule for drama. Roll for memories. If there isn't a meaningful failure condition, do not roll. Ever. (Perception checks, I'm .... clunk, roll, roll, roll, stop... 14, looking at you... maybe?)
I'm reasonably new here having used the site for only 6 months or so and it's great to see so many new features being added.
I would like to suggest, however, that it be made a bit more friendly to DMs. To do this, it'd be great to add some features to the "My Campaigns" tab such as multiple notes boxes for different categories of notes, treasure tracker, session builder (maybe a way to write diverging paths) and a recap/summary view for players.
I have been watching the recent dev updates and must say I am excited for the upcoming features. One that I anxiously await is the ability to put stuff in containers. It occurred to me that this will inevitably come up anyway, but I would like to put in an early request for it. You know the way in the encounter builder how you can either put in 1 batch of 10 monsters, say Goblins for example, or 10 “batches” of individual Goblins? It sure would be great if stuff like Arrows, etc. worked that way too. I would eventually love to be able to put 20 Crossbow Bolts into one Bolt Case, and another 20 in a different Bolt Case so I could stick that Bolt Case into my horse'sSaddlebags. Even stuff like Blankets, as is if I want a blanket for me, and a horse blanket too, I have to make one of them a custom item to keep things separated and organized for location and encumbrance. What do you think, is that doable? Thanks!!

This sort of thing is on the long-term roadmap, under "inventory management enhancements": https://ddb.ac/feature-roadmap

I am aware of the “Inventory Management Enhancements,” like I said, I have been watching the dev updates. I wasn’t sure if that was going to cover specifically stuff like 2 separate batches of 20 arrows each, or two separate blankets, or the ability to put a container like a bolt case inside another container like a chest or saddlebags specifically, and I wanted to request them specifically. Especially the blankets. I don’t want my horses to chafe from their saddles.
Or I tell you what, can you at least put in a “Blanket, Horse?” I’d settle for that. 😉

UA feedback should be directed to Wizards of the Coast... Though I think the Wild Soul barbarian UA survey closed long ago: https://twitter.com/jeremyecrawford/status/1171820111730114560

Also for the creature homebrew I would like it if you added a blank box that isn't classified as anything so I can describe the creature a bit more.
That probably falls under "Homebrew Revamp" on the long-term roadmap: https://ddb.ac/feature-roadmap

The ability to choose which page you go to in a PM.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms

Awesome, looking forward to it! Thank you!
Wow that extension was painful to use.
So buggy.
But now works well!
Very nice.
