Okay. Character sheet overhaul was announced... But I see nothing about the ability to add feats whenever?
Under "Features and Traits" there is a Feats section with a big button that says "Manage Feats" you an choose anything you want to add to the character from there.
OK, inspired by the manage feats option I created a homebrew feat I had been planning for ages ("Highly Trained", +1 Ability, +1 Tool and +1 Skill proficiencies).
I can see the new feat in the character sheet/manage feats list, but I can't select it in the edit character/level up page.
Is this a known issue? Have I missed something?
(Edit: I have a Master level subscription and I do have homebrew content enabled)
You add it on the sheet (where you can see it), not from the character builder unless you are at a level to choose an ASI or feat.
Thats just it, I would like to add it from the ASI/feat choice, but I can't see it there. I can only see it on the "manage feat" pop up list.
Edit - Never mind. For some reason, today my homebrew feat now appears alongside everything else as I expected it should. No idea what changed, but working as expected(?).
Hello, when i go to try and add my feat in the manage feat tab, only the three based of of gunslinger are there... i had taken fighter feats beforehand and wasnt able to add them in durring character creation. Any info would be appreciated.
Anyone able to help me out, I am joingin a campaign mid-way through and have been given a feat by the DM, I have added the feat (Squat Nimbleness) to my character sheet, but I cant work out how to make my selections? i.e. adapt either strength or dex modifier, adapt acrobatics or athletics etc. Is there a way to do this?
EDIT ANSWERED- no idea how, but about 20 minutes after adding it, the options to apply selections appeared!

When you select a feat that requires a choice, you can expand the feat by clicking on it and the drop-menu will appear at the end of the description.

Go on Features & Traits, then Feats, then Manage Feats.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yessssssss!! I just didn't see it in the patch notes so I wasn't sure. Thanks for the heads up!

Have you purchased the PHB or the feats bundle?

Was the character a part of a campaign with content sharing enabled?
Is this doable yet?
See post 101 above.

Great, thanks. Don’t know how I missed that.

I am assuming this is still not a thing?
Both adding a feat and creating a feat are possible.
its 2019 now. Has this feature been added?
It has been added for quite some time now.
On the character sheet, go to Features & Traits and then under feats you click manage and you can add feats that way.

Manage Feats is only allowing me to add homebrew feats to my character. Will it ever be possible to manually add existing feats?
