Can we get a single point of reference for all sub-classes and races that are currently available? Not necessarily all of the stats and mechanics, but just an index with a high level summary, and which source it comes from.
Some of my players don't necessarily know what they want to play as and get really frustrated by needing to read through every single source description to decide what to buy, and none of us are so well off that we can just drop $300 to get everything.
I made a Google Sheets document for my players to use as a starting point, which is basically what I was hoping would be on the website. Not enough info to play without paying, but enough to be able to make a decision about what they want to be/buy.

We have that already. On the top bar click Characters and then Races or Classes. If gives you a nice list with a summary of what each one does.
Those pages only show which races and classes you've unlocked with purchases. If I open them from an incognito browser, they have different details than if I open them from my logged-in tab.
Ah, would be cool then if those pages showed ALL races, but maybe greyed out the picture and so forth for the ones you don't have access to, along with a link to the relevant book in the marketplace?

That would be just about perfect. The only way I can think of to improve it would be for it to display the reason the person doesn't have access to it, preferably somewhere obvious.
I know this is an old thread, but I really would like to see this myself. We have it for feats and backgrounds and the like, where we can see it exists in a list and learn which book to go buy it from, but there's nothing like this for subclasses. Took me way too long to figure out which sourcebook has the swashbuckler in it, and I wasn't able to do it on DND Beyond. I had to google and let Reddit tell me. Seems like a pretty big hole in what is otherwise quite a well-designed resource.
The races page still does that function. I just checked in an incognito window, and even logged out it lists all the races on DDB, by source, with that first basic preview that tells you what their basic racial traits and ASIs are if they have one. That's a pretty good preview for free. Subclasses, yes, those don't appear. But races are currently visible.
Hopefully this is a good place to share as well but it also seems like the addition of UA has slowed down and I would like to see that pop back up quickly as well for races and subclasses
The addition of UA hasn't 'slowed down,' DDB has stopped supporting it. There's been no indication that they will start doing so again now that they've changed ownership, but many people are hopeful that they will at some point in the future.

If you're using campaign sharing with a master subscription your players should see everything though right?

Yes please! I hate that I can't know what I can buy. There needs to be a list of all races and all subclasses. At least their names if nothing else.

absolutely beautiful doc! thanks a lot! very useful as well that it mentions which are purchasable (and from where), and which are legacy.
Thanks! I was wondering what happened!
