Am I the only one who doesn't really care much for the maps feature? I mean don't get me wrong, its very nice to have when it comes to playing virtually. That being said, I purchased a web cam for my player who can't physically attend sessions due to moving around thus making the maps not as beneficial to one as myself. I really think adding the ability to TRULY homebrew is something that should be focused on now. Or at least start having Wizards add more 3rd party content like from heavily funded kickstarters. I mean they already added Dungeon Dudes, they'd be making way more if they would just add more 3rd party content! -Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
I think the maps feature prototypes for the vtt system which is being built to support the subscription model. With the vtt I think they can justify charging more money for the subscription, but I don't think a functioning homebrew system justifies price increases. Considering hasbro's and wotc's past decisions it seems clear to me they've probably just cast it to the side for the future despite it being requested for the past 3-4 years..
New year, new time for me to check back and request this feature. Please add this. Please do it. This is the missing piece of the puzzle. Gate it behind a paywall if you must. Add it as a paid upgrade feature. Make it part of a special sub.

how do i make a CLASS, not a subclass, a full on class

Hello dearest adventurers! I am the Confused Introvert, i dont know too much about D&D, but im the king of oddly specific and almost useless homebrew cantraps/low level spells, and am currently working on a setting called "Illogical Wizardry" where all of my useless and somewhat absurd spells are implemented to replace the good and known ones (mage hand, fireball, vicious mockery, etc)
There's also a confirmation on their Discord that their second book, Sebastian Crowe's Guide to Drakkenheim, is being worked on but is being held up by the fact it has a third party class rather than just subclasses.

i do love dnd beyond its the best place for newer people to start out and learn along with the great character sheets. But id love if they would make the homebrew stuff better! i know its on the list and they have other work to do i just want it to happen sooner rather then later mainly because homebrew is the lifeblood of dnd.
