To throw another request to the busy Curse crew:

I have seen some people wondering what purchased content would look like (and have wondered that myself) beyond the mechanics incorporated into the relevant sections (races, monsters, etc.), especially adventures. Since you have Elemental Evil Player's Companion content on the site (presumably because it's a free download from WotC), what about adding it as a specific book in the Compendium? It could be a free sample to show exactly what a purchased sourcebook would look like.

As for adventures, I would be very interested to see how they look and work in the compendium. The "Storm King's Thunder: A Great Upheaval" is another free download, but an adventure. Personally, I'm already all in on purchasing the sourcebooks, but I'm on the fence with adventures. Seeing how a full adventure would look (rather than just that Curse of Strahd screenshot that has been shared a few times here) would go a long way in helping me decide. (probably in favor of purchasing - *hint hint*) ;)

I should have linked to it, but that's the screenshot I was referring to and have seen several times in this thread. Also, YouTubers and streamers would help as well, but I would like something I can click around myself and give a test run, especially an adventure since that format is much more complex than a sourcebook.

 Aye. A solid in-depth sample would help me understand what I'd be buying in ways no review or screenshot could. And I think I need that to get off the fence as I waffle about buying the books through here.

After reading most of this thread (and this may have already been asked and I just missed it), the only question I have is whether or not the encounter tracker will be available at launch on the 15th?  I plan on purchasing the PHB, DMG, and MM on launch day and, as a DM, I think the most useful and instantly gratifying thing right out of the gate would be an encounter tracker with the means to link back to all the monster stats and such. I am super excited about that feature and really hope it will be there on launch day (if not sooner for beta testing purposes).

Maps and art will be clickable into a lightbox for high-res versions, and from there they can be downloaded for full-size versions in you want to use those in a VTT or anywhere else.

All relevant text will be cross-linked/ tooltipped like everything else in the site. It's really nice to run a session using these...just hover over a monster to see AC, Hit Points, and so on on the fly, or click out to a new tab to see the creature's full statistics very quickly.

Of course, these will become even more useful down the road as we add the encounter builder and combat management - all these adventures will automatically receive all that functionality.

A thought and a question occur. In the DMG there are tables for randomly generating a dungeon. While I have no doubt that these will be in the resource material provided by buying the dmg will we see something akin to the character creator for dungeons? A dungeon creator for lack of a less on the nose name.

From the start, we have said that what we are testing as part of the three phases of beta would be the feature set for launch.

The encounter builder and monster progression will not be available, but they are the next major feature we will focus on delivering.

So when will the ability to print Character Sheets happen? How about the DMs notes, will we be able to print those? Without the print feature this whole product is useless to me as we don't allow devices at the table.
