I don't think they will ever give the ability to create homebrew classes.

Many folks would stop buying books, and just enter new classes by hand.  Others would have completely unrecognizable as dnd campaigns, also reducing the demand for new books and products.

I personally would still buy books for new classes, as it would be good value in my opinion for the money.  I really only need one or two classes (psion) anyway.

Bring back al la cart and bundles

I'd like to see something other than dice or frames.  Not that exciting.

Not at the moment, no. It should be listed on the skills page, in my opinion, indicating which tools you have proficiency with. It's not specific to any one ability, so the "modifier" is just your proficiency bonus.

 I just realized we are technically doing Thieves Tools checks wrong. 

That being said has anyone used them in a way where the ability modifier isn't DEX? I can't envision a situation where you would be using a tiny set of delicate tools with STR. Maybe trying to disarm a magic trap with WIS? 

Hopefully it will be covered in the customization released soon by Curse.

What a poster said above about would be ideal.

The ability to hover over characters and NPC's created to get a "stat block" for them

1. This should include at a minimum ability scores, HP (current/max/temp), AC, Proficiency bonus, level
2. If there's room, proficient skills, senses, and languages.
3. The point is to be on the main campaign tab and have an "at a glance" look at character stats without having to load multiple pages up

I should have linked to it, but that's the screenshot I was referring to and have seen several times in this thread. Also, YouTubers and streamers would help as well, but I would like something I can click around myself and give a test run, especially an adventure since that format is much more complex than a sourcebook.

 Aye. A solid in-depth sample would help me understand what I'd be buying in ways no review or screenshot could. And I think I need that to get off the fence as I waffle about buying the books through here.
