How do you plan on handling character death in this campaign? Can you just make a new third level character and start your way up again?
My plan was firstly, to give the PCs a chance to revive fallen PCs with revival spells. And then yeah, probably just roll up a new character. Unless anyone has better ideas...

A shrewd NPC could hand out insurances against character death for a fee or cut. The insurance sum (for a temple revival) could be paid out based on a roll, because he might find some clause why you're not eligible or only in part. Of course only if the body is returned. He could be re-insured by a devil who will get the soul on a roll of 1.

Lol, 5% chance of being screwed over by insurance. Realistic and entertaining! (At least, in the game.)
As an acolyte, you command the respect of those who share your faith, and you can perform the religious ceremonies of your deity. You and your adventuring companions can expect to receive free healing and care at a temple, shrine, or other established presence of your faith, though you must provide any material components needed for spells. Those who share your religion will support you (but only you) at a modest lifestyle.
I have ties to a specific temple dedicated to Torm, god of courage and self-sacrifice, and I have a residence there as long as I remain in good standing. While near your temple, you can call upon the priests for assistance, provided the assistance you ask for is not hazardous and you remain in good standing with your temple.
Character Class: Cleric, War Domain/artificer. I'm a healer with a knack for innovation.
Character sheet:
Guess I will have to wait let me know if a spot opens up, please.
Class: Monk, Way of Sendo [If unaccepted, Way fo the Four Elements.]
Backstory: (Noble.) Meepo of the Flame, Master of Heat, The Sun King; Meepo has gained these names for a good reason, according to his "people". Meepo was born to a standard clan of Kobold, pillaging small cities and reaping their rewards. Years down the line, he began to harness a mystical ability, the magic of "Ki", and was praised by first his peers, then his entire clan. Forced onto the throne is where the tiny lizard remains today, with an angry snarl on his tiny snout.

Way of Sendo looks mostly fine... Deep Breathing just seems a bit powerful to me, given that you also get hamon. I would say just reduce uses to half proficiancy and it should be fine. To be clear, the problem is not in combat, (an action is a fair price for a ki point during battle, if not overly expensive), but between battles. As written at level 3 you basically get an extra 2 ki, which is very powerful.
In addition deep pass override has a small issue. It's a temporary sacrifice (one day of not having ki or hit points) for a permanent gain. During any down time stretching over multiple weeks you can give your entire party extra hit points, ki, and access to hamon for little cost (as long as you have a healer at hand to immediately heal you). I'd advise doing something like reducing your ki by 1 permanently each use.
Otherwise the subclass is pretty good, and if you're willing to make the changes I'll accept it. Other than that, you can finish up your character sheet then get playing!
Backstory: Boomi is a acolyte of Moradin and a master of the holy brew. He served his clan's brew master during the war with the Duergar and as a medic on the line. Now the war is over and sick of fighting In the dark. Boomi has discovered a wonder lust and a taste for adventure. Always ready to help with a quick prayer or a stiff brew.

Alrighty! Just finished making the changes. I edited the last feature of the Deep Pass overdrive so that the player loses 2 of their total ki points, as well as the use of Deep Breathing to half of the proficiency bonus, rounded up.
