(Hey, you said I could share that with the party! No one looked up anything in the past yet! not that I know of.)
(I'm really sorry, but on this matter of discussion, I'll admit it. I hadn't looked up anything before, but in this instance specifically I ended up creating suspicions the same way Velmine did, over the fact that the creature "lives in the underdark", and I went and looked the creature up to confirm my suspicions. I'll try to avoid it in next ocasions, but I just couldn't very well ignore the fact that the creature was indeed used to darkness. But as IC reason for that, Velmine's Intelligence of 19 shows very well how she could suspect something like that, intelligence is supposed to be one of her defining traits, along with her dexterity and charisma.)

BoboBoombang: You are in the clear, you made a nature check and I gave you the informatiom.
Pertuie: This time it's Ok, but in the future if you look try not to use the information unless you make a successful check. A check is an action. Usually for this, you would make a Nature check DC 10, 15, or 20, but I might change it or ask you to make a 2nd (free) check.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Eiren, seeing that he has the drop on the hook horror, whispers an arcane curse and extends his hand. Three burning rays shoot from his fingertips toward the Hook Horror (H1).
Yes the Forests are dim light, and VanderLegion is right about the echolocation vs Darkvision.
Tallis are you shooting your bow or changing it to something else? Are you targeting H1?
(Sorry, catching up after a nasty night and long day. Yes, flipping back to my double short swords for this.)

(Got it, as I said, I'll try to avoid it.)
Velmine tries to get at a close enough distance to throw her dagger and targets on the creature's weakest point.
Attack:27Damage:29 (Sneak attack due to having advantage on the attack roll.)
(Edit: Oof, a crit. long time I don't get one of those, and now it feels good to mention the "creature's weakest point" before even knowing I'd have gotten this crit.)
Tallis shoots his bow at (which target) and then changes his weapon to duel swords and moves to the cliff face, hoping his target will come down.
Velmine I assume you are moving within 20 feet so you will have advantage on that amazing throw. They are 20 feet up the cliff face so you would need to be 20 feet or closer. Also I need to know which target.
Both of you, please let me know which square you end your turn in.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Well, DC 16 orH2 will take that 8 damage I rolled.) Baik casts his readied spell and then chucks his spear at the flaming hook horror after moving to 15L. Yeah! Take this! Attack: 22 Damage: 5
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Create Bonfire states "You create a bonfire on ground that you can see within range. Until the spell ends, the magic bonfire fills a 5-foot cube." As the Hook Horror is not on the ground, but 20 feet up the cliff/wall, I'm going to say it won't be feasible and since you really only get one action I'm going to say you moved to L15 and threw you spear.
Baik throws his spear which hits the Hook Horror hard. Str Check 7 The Hook Horror manages to keep its hooks embedded in the cliff and doesn't fall. (Due to the crit. The same for whichever one Velmine hits also DC 10). The spear falls free and lands softly in J14
Baik make a free Perception check at the end of your turn (DC 15)
(but reaction. It needed a reaction. Or are you saying that this is still a surprise round? I cant get a better roll. I had no idea. And why are you making a strength check?)
(but reaction. It needed a reaction. Or are you saying that this is still a surprise round? I cant get a better roll. I had no idea. And why are you making a strength check?)
Yes this is still the surprise round. I made the strength check to see if your crit knocked it off the cliff. But it was able to keep its hooks embedded in the cliff and not fall.
Tallis shoots his bow at (which target) and then changes his weapon to duel swords and moves to the cliff face, hoping his target will come down.

(Is this considered a Surprise round on the hook horrors? I had originally meant that I wanted to switch to swords first, but would they be out of reach?)
(Edit: Just saw the updates about the Surprise round. Two questions: For the sake of Gloom Stalker's first round extra attack (via Dread Ambusher), do you consider that part of the Surprise Round or the first actual round of initiative? Second, if you consider the first initiative round as using the feature, would you allow me to shoot my pact bow during the surprise round, postpone Dread Ambusher while I switch to short swords and roll for Stealth, then (if successful on stealth) use Dread Ambusher on the next round?)

I've gone back and forth on this question. I finally decided the the extra attack granted by Dread Ambusher would be in the surprise round.
Given this and the fact that they are currently out of melee range, go ahead and make a new post.
Xavier cast sickening radiance centered on K9 con dc 16 at start of turn inside the green light or if they move into it , on fail take 4d10 radiant damage and suffer one level of exhaustion and emit green light in a 5 foot radius.

Yes this is still the surprise round. I made the strength check to see if your crit knocked it off the cliff. But it was able to keep its hooks embedded in the cliff and not fall.
Ah, ok. Thanks. I had no idea it was still the surprise round.
