I'm running a section of my campaign in the Underdark (the BBEG finds the PCs annoying and throws them into the Underdark to get rid of them), and while I do have Out of the Abyss, I've discovered it's a little light on the Underdark as a campaign setting, and I was wondering if anyone knows of good Underdark supplements from previous editions (I know 4e had one, but is it any good?)
Skullport from 3.5e has some useful info, its a trading post under Waterdeep in the forggotten realms but is easily tweaked for any setting. The wiki has some info: https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Skullport

I have the 4e book simply titled "Underdark" and I think it's quite good. Will try to lay out the contents:
The first section is an overview. Origins of the UD, big players there, unique geography/phenomena, and example adventure and campaign arcs by tier - 24 pages
The next four sections are different regions of the UD: The Shallows, The Deeps, The Feydark, and the Shadowdark. Each section describes denizens, geography/phenomena, and several cities/locations in each region - avg of 26 pages each. Feydark and Shadowdark I assume are unique to 4e - sections of the Underdark affected by the Feywild and Shadowfell - but they could be incorporated into any regular UD setting. I particularly like the Feydark.
Last section is 20 pages of monsters.
There's a good bit of edition-specific content like example encounters and references to the 4e cosmology (which is actually quite good regardless of how you feel about the rest of the edition), but I expect you find that with other sources as well. Overall I really enjoyed using it back in the day and still keep it around for inspiration when my players head underground.

Thanks! I’m pretty sure I have a PDF of it somewhere. Now I just have to find it....
Are you talking about modules or any old material, because there was a boxed set in 2e I think, devoted to Menzo, and it might have had info on the rest of the Underdark as well.

I'm just looking for a sourcebook/campaign setting, not a module. Thanks anyway!

I looked around and got the following:
The highest rated seemed to be Night Below (2e).
I played Night Below it was good. 2e also had Menzoberanzan which was obviously mostly about that city, but some cool stuff in it.
Coleville swears by and still uses Night Below.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
