It should not take more than a minute or two. I am trying to gather some statistics on the dnd player population's preferences on a few things, for a personal project.
To generate discussion, and because I didn't think it fit on the survey well (I'm looking for raw data on that), I would also love it if you took a minute to reply to this thread with your favourite dnd experience so far. Your favourite game memory, how did it happen? Thanks!
Quick note, you link is a bit wonky, delete the after 37, or it won't work.
A few of my fav D&D moments: (my group: Half-orc Barbarian, Half-elf Bard, Dwarven Cleric, Woodelf Druid (me))
-We had to infiltrate a party & steal something for some shady character our bard had been involved with. At the party my druid met a tall, intimidating guy with long hair, a lot of scars and an eye-patch. ("A pirate! *-*" <-- my druid) Looking for his friends, my druid, after a little chat, climbed on the guy's shoulders and directed him to his friends, Yachiru-style
It then turned out, the the "pirate" actually was our barbarian's uncle, who was very terrified when he saw my druid ride on his uncle's back. xDD
- A bit after the situation above, we had to get over a patch of magical plants, so my druid told our barbarian to throw him over it, which he did and then my Druid used his newly aquired Pennant of the Vind Rune to negate the fall damage. xD Then our bard casted levitate on the Barbarian, the Cleric & Bard "hopped on" and together they floated over the plants.
There's a lot more, but these two just popped into my mind.
