Why did you put a "3" cap on stats??? My gm does stats differently and I got a one on that...? I don't even know why you put a cap. Is there a eighteen cap too??
Seriously... there's a cap on "override score" too. I also tried "-2" to "other modifiers. Doesn't wirk
The tools are designed to support the officials rules and published variants / UA when able. If your DM is using homebrew rules, you may run into issues.
Per the rules, the lowest a stat can start with is 3 and the highest is 18 (4d6 drop lowest). With point point, minimum is 8 and max is 15.
That's true, but some monsters temporarily lower Ability scores to 1. Dndbeyond should support that at least.
Why go to the trouble of putting a cap at all? I've been in a 30 Ability score GOD campaign before, there are lots of campaigns like that.
Point buy sure, 8 to 15, but MANUAL should be MANUAL. the PHB says that there are stats ranging from 1~30, and 20 cap for adventurers. As far as I know, the minimum Ability Score according to the PHB is 1 and the max is 20
1 and 3 are functionally the same if you allow a 1 to function at all. Either way you are massively crippled and probably shouldn't be an adventurer at all.
Yea there are multiple ways of reducing someone's ability scores but I find Feeblemind is the easiest to show because it literally sets their score to 1 - something that's impossible on DNDBeyond even with an override.
It'll probably change when they finally add in temporary effects - but who knows when that might be.

My homebrew subclasses (full list here)
(Artificer) Swordmage | Glasswright | (Barbarian) Path of the Savage Embrace
(Bard) College of Dance | (Fighter) Warlord | Cannoneer
(Monk) Way of the Elements | (Ranger) Blade Dancer
(Rogue) DaggerMaster | Inquisitor | (Sorcerer) Riftwalker | Spellfist
(Warlock) The Swarm
Well, that just gives more of a reason why they even bothered to set a cap if no one's going to do it(except me)
You should at least be able to override a score to 1 because of spells like Feeblemind.

Oh yeah! I thought that was a monster that lowered Ability scores
Edit: No wait: intellect devourer
